Nicht zum ersten Mal nächtigen wir in diesem netten Hotel. Hier hat alles gepasst, die Zimmer sauber, freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück und auch am Abend ist das Restaurant zu empfehlen.

A charming old town hotel, central to all historical sights. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities we needed. Great bathroom, with robes and slippers for our use. The bed was super comfortable. I have to say what impressed me the most was the people who own and work in this establishment. They are fantastic. Warm, helpful, funny and go that extra mile for you. As no vehicles are allowed inside the city walls it’s a little walk on cobblestone streets to get to the hotel. It was all worth it.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Monika. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice, clean and we had no issue with noise at night time (one of my fears travelling and staying in hotels is not getting sleep due to noise!) We had one night booked and meeting friends the following day who were delayed flying in so they kindly let us store our luggage with them and we sat on the nice terrace on the 1st floor and waited for our friends after we had had enough walking around in the heat. We had a very inadequate and over-priced lunch on the water front on our arrival into Trogir. The staff were not very polite and our simple chicken salad and chips took a very long time to arrive. My glass of Rose wine was so small, it was gone in 2 sips!. We decided to eat at the hotel Monika’s restaurant that evening and we were not disappointed. The service was nice and relaxed and the food was lovely. The courtyard is very pleasant too so that became our place to go to eat a meal. As for the lack of an elevator which has been mentioned, unless you have mobility issues, we did not find this a problem at all and is all part of the charm of this hotel in the heart of a very ancient town. We returned to Hotel Monika for another night at the end of our visit in Croatia and once again, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to this lovely part of Croatia.

We had four nights here at the beginning of June. What a lovely hotel to stay in. The restaurant had a great selection of food to choose from, the rooms were very clean and the bathrooms clean and modern. All the staff from the management to the cleaners were friendly polite and couldn’t do enough for you. The only trouble we had was finding it to start with as Trogir is such a charming medieval town full of narrow passageways it takes a little while to find your way about, but there are plenty of places to stop and have a drink or snack. We will definitely go back. If you fancy a trip into Split our tip is don’t go on the bus take the ferry around €8 for an hours trip along the beautiful coast.

Au milieu de la vieille ville de Trogir ce charmant hôtel n'a qu'un défaut : pas d'ascenseur. Pour le reste il est parfaitement situé et si vous êtes en Croatie sans visiter Trogir vous allez vraiment rater quelque chose. La chambre est assez grande et la SDB parfaite. L'accès du parking extérieur obligatoire se fera à pied en 15 mn. Accueil sympathique avec quelques mots de français (mais mieux vaut parler anglais) le restaurant de l'hôtel est aussi à conseiller pour son cadre et la cuisine.

Small but picturesque hotel in Trogir old town
Very nice hotel in the old town of Trogir. Service offerted by hotel staff was more than exceptional. Cosy rooms, well equipped. Spacious bathroom. Small and beautiful place to stay while discovering Trogir and surroundings!
