XII Century Heritage Hotel

I stayed at the XII Century Heritage Hotel for one night in April and was impressed by its character and location. The hotel beautifully blends historical architecture with modern comfort. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and adequate amenities. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout the stay.

Wonderful Stay in Trogir! We had an amazing experience at this hotel in Trogir. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we slept so well! The service was truly fantastic. The staff were warm, helpful, and down-to-earth – just genuinely kind people. They helped us with everything, from arranging a taxi to carrying our luggage both to the room and later to the taxi. The location is also great – very central and convenient for exploring the old town. All in all, a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

The XII Century Hotel is a small property right on the waterfront promenade of the old city of Trogir. As such, there is no car access, but there is a natural dropping point and the hotel staff are very helpful with luggage. Rooms are on 4 floors and accessible only by stairs – naturally enough in a small historic building – so on both grounds the hotel is not suitable for guests with serious mobility problems. But it is within very easy walking distance of all parts of the old city. We had a very nice room on the 3rd floor, with lovely views over the water and the boats. There was plenty of space and decent storage. It was tastefully furnished and in very good condition. The bathroom was large, with toilet, basin, bath and over-bath shower. With so much space, we’d have been inclined to include separate bath and shower, but in an old building there may be issues with utilities. We should also mention that all Trogir is on the flight path to Split airport, but there seems to be a night jet ban and by day our room’s double glazing was well up to the challenge. Staff were very friendly and helpful, though their knowledge of the city could be quite variable. Unusually, the hotel does not have a breakfast room. Instead, it has an arrangement with the restaurant next door to serve breakfast to its guests, with a free choice from a full menu. As a result, we had some pleasant – and potentially very filling – outdoor breakfasts watching the boats, the people and the aircraft.

Ena at the reception desk was exceptionally helpful. She went above and beyond to help us with our problem. She sent Danijel to help us with our luggage he picked it up from the bus stop he is exceptional driver and very polite gentleman who made my ride safe and secure. He even gave me little tour during our ride. Ena and Danijel are the great asset to XII century Heritage Hotel. Next time we are definetly stay here and definitely recommend the place to our friends

A lovely old stone building with a lovely friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble you felt at home. Danielle the head Receptionist was a complete dream who really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Thanks for such a lovely Holiday
