The most I like about this hotel is it's location, just 10 mins easy walk to the old town bridge. Breakfast was just okay and I found a good parking spot on site. Nicely appointed room with good shower. Deco was kind of 80's though I didn't mind that much as long it's clean and tidy. A nice little balcony gave a partial view of Trogir Bay

Suitable for short-term business trips, the location is very good, the city is very quiet, and it is a small seaport!

The hotel has a great location, a beautiful view from the balcony. The room is spacious and clean. The room had a very strong bleach smell when we arrived, we have to keep the windows open for a while. The shower is small and hard to stand up for tall people, but we manage. Breakfast food was very limited compared to other hotels we had stayed Close to Split airport only 10 min ride

In this instance, “family run” appears to be a euphemism for “unprofessional.” The food was mediocre. None of English speaking channels were available when I was there. When I mentioned this to the front desk, she said, “that happens when the internet needs to be reset.” When I asked if she could reset it, she said no. The next morning I tried to walk down the stairs ( one flight) to have breakfast. Twice, I walked down stairs and encountered a locked door. Finally, I found a door to the outside, and had to walk around the hotel to get back to the lobby. When I told the woman in the reception area, she thought it was funny. I told her it was actually quite dangerous, in terms of fire safety. And she said I must have walked the wrong way when I left my room. Again, no accountability for the fact that no stairwell from my room should lead me to a locked/deadend, in the event of an emergency. The locations and rooms were okay. But there is absolutely no reason to return or recommend this place

The hotel was situated only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the main restaurants in the area. There was a small beach very close by, being about 5 minutes walk which you could swim. The front of the hotel overlooks the harbour which is just across the road. Nearby are two food shops which you can get drinks, food, wine and spirits. The hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. The two rooms (family room) were very pleasant with aircon and supplied with a fridge and two flat screen tv's. There was also a safe in the cupboard. I was suprised however that there was no kettle or provisions to make a drink and that the fridge was empty. The fridge seemed to take 3 days to chill itself let alone any drinks put in it. The bathroom had a mixer shower bath and again was spotless. Towels were provided and the room was cleaned daily to a very high standard! I have to say this, the standard maintained by the staff was amazing, even to placing my daughter's cuddly toy in various positions amusing us when we returned. We loved it. The breakfast was very nice and there was something for everyone and from whatever country you came from. Again here, the staff were very friendly and constantly topping the breakfast bar up. We stayed for a week and yes planes do fly overhead. The rooms are well insulated, and with windows closed, it really isn't an issue. In fact, we watched them from the balcony with interest. I certainly didn't loose any sleep due to planes. I can honestly say, I couldn't hear any other guest either. We were on the first floor and sadly situated to the rear of the hotel. Our room 103, did not have the desired views across the harbour and out L shaped balcony accessed from only the kids room overlooked the flats next to the side of us and the laundry room and I think the aircon room. I was really disappointed about this and I guess this is just luck of the draw. I pictured my wife and I sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine overlooking the harbour. Instead, we had next door some apartments and the raised car park behind of private residential houses. Pictures and write ups are deceptive here and initially nearly ruined my time at the hotel. Realistically, we only spent a very short time in the rooms and we got on with it. It felt a little strange that the two rooms felt the wrong way around. The two single beds were in the larger room with a desk, fridge, safe and only door out onto the balcony. The large double bed was in a smaller room. It mattered not, just felt odd. Both rooms had individual aircon units and there were roll down shutters on all the windows and door to the balcony giving you extra security. The windows would open like a conventional window or tilt from the bottom which included the door onto the balcony. This would be very good for young children and prevent access to the balcony but still allow ventilation in to the room. The lift for us was close by, but we used the stairs. In summary,

We spent one night in Hotel Trogir Palace before a flight out of the Split airport. The hotel is clean. The bedsheets had a weird smell that kept us up all night. The staff was nice, though not over friendly. The planes going over the hotel were noisy. You had to cross a road to the beach and it was small and noisy. I would not recommend this hotel for a long stay but it is an excellent choice to be near the airport for an early flight. It was a much better price than Split hotels and closer to the airport.

Hotel was like a dated cruise ship. Staff were ok. When we checked in the front desk said she would have a breakfast to go for us since we had an early flight. Nothing was prepared for us. We are also told the shuttle would be 25 euros for 2 people. It changed in the morning to 35 euros since it was they said that was the night rate. Odd because in the email I stated the time I needed a ride and that extra fee was never disclosed. Felt like I was ripped off. I booked this room to enjoy the balancy. My room was on the first floor and the balancy faced the side of a building. Pictures are deceiving. Would not stay again. Plenty of other cute hotels with lower prices..
