Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we hartelijk ontvangen in dit charmante hotel. Bijzonder was de mogelijkheid om zelf witte wijn te pakken en het verbruik op een briefje bij te houden – een uniek staaltje vertrouwen! Voor ons bleek dit echter niet nodig, want na een werkelijk verrukkelijk diner op de eerste avond, compleet met voldoende passende Trittenheim-Apotheker Riesling, was onze dorst gestild en was er geen noodzaak meer om zelf wijn te tappen. De culinaire ervaring was absoluut een hoogtepunt van ons verblijf! Onze hotelkamer was modern, schoon en bood veel comfort. Het matras was uitstekend en zorgde voor een goede nachtrust. Enige kleine kanttekening waren de hoofdkussens; deze boden voor ons wat minder steun en zouden wellicht verbeterd kunnen worden. We hebben twee dagen genoten van de prachtige omgeving en kunnen met zekerheid zeggen dat ons verblijf echt heel goed was. We kijken er nu al naar uit om hier graag terug te komen!

Een prachtig hotel (hoe ze het ook noemen, het lijkt een hotel), een mooie locatie, heerlijke kamers. Maar de waardin verpest alles: keurt je nauwelijks een blik waardig, evenals haar kinderen. Bah! De grap van alles was ook nog: ik had 4 dagen vooraf gebeld om te reserveren, toen werd na enige ruggenspraak gezegd dat alles vol was, ook op last van de vrouw des huizes. Toen ik er de bewuste dag in de buurt was, ben ik gewoon langsgegaan: er was niemand, wij waren de enige gasten! Nee, de arrogantie straalt eraf. En dat voor € 100 euro voor de kamer. Man wel vriendelijk trouwens.

Die Lage ist schön, aber für mich laut durch den Straßenverkehr über die Brücke. Das Zimmer, wer es mag, Duschbad mit WC durch eine Glasschiebetür vom (Schlaf-) Zimmer getrennt, die bauartlich bedingt 3cm offen vom Anschlag blieb. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Ein Mitarbeiter des Hauses servierte jeden Morgen frisch zubereitete Eierspeise nach Wahl direkt an den Tisch! Das (Abend-) Menue, der Chefkoch gestreßt und das Dessert wich von der Karte ab. Einige bekamen was sie nicht wollten/durften. (Wegen Geschmak/ Allergie) Reklamation wurde von Koch sehr übel genommen und unschön kommentiert.
