We had our wedding at Trim Castle Hotel in August 2025, and truly couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Initially, we looked at a number of wedding venues in the Leinster area, wanting slightly outside of Dublin City, but not too far. We ultimately chose Trim Castle Hotel based on the quality we thought it was, and the moderate price. From the moment we began communication with the hotel and wedding staff, everyone was very lovely, prompt in their responses, and patient with our queries. They were very organized in the year lead-up to the wedding and helpful in their guidance. We specifically worked with Lauren, who we can not say enough great things about. She was so lovely to work with, always answering all our questions, proactive in providing us information, and ever so patient with us. Her genuine care and clear experience made the lead-up a breeze. Also, we had a large number of hotel reservations, Martyna and the reservations teams were so great to work with. Given many of our guests were from overseas, we had to coordinate the bookings, and Martyna and her team were flexible and accommodating to our requests. The actual day of the wedding went so smoothly. From the get-go, we wanted our ceremony on the rooftop, and even though it rained briefly in the morning, the sky cleared and the team at the hotel were quick to set-up on the rooftop. It was the most beautiful setting. Lauren was great as the coordinator on the day of as well. She checked in with each of us many times throughout the day, attending to any needs or requests, and helped the coordination of getting us to the roof and just the order of events flawlessly. The drinks reception was a floor down, and again a beautiful presentation. The bar was plenty big enough for our guest list of 120, and never a line for drinks, which was great. The transition from the drinks to dinner again ran smoothly, and our whole reception was beautiful. We got to choose the table centerpieces they provided, as well as the table and dance floor setup. Chairs were sturdy but still beautiful, and we thought the reception looked elegant. Again, the bar was a great size and the bathrooms easily accessible. Everyone raved about the meal, such great quality and plenty of food for everyone. The wine paired with dinner was also great. The biggest plus about a wedding with Trim Castle Hotel is the incredible staff, and specifically Lauren. When booking the wedding venue, staff wasn’t the first thing on our minds, but looking back it did make such an impact on the rhythm of the day, our peace of mind, and our general experience.

We had a family day out and went to Trim Castle Hotel for their carvery and what an experience! We arrived and were welcomed immediately by smiley waitress Michaela, made out way to the bar to order our drinks and were served very quickly, the barmaid Eva, was super friendly, helpful and had our drinks out in a jiffy, having six of us there, with undecided minds she was very patient and didn’t make us feel rushed and we made our way to our beautiful table with an excellent view of the castle. Michaela explained the carvery and off we went to dish up. The chef was also super friendly and the food was unbelievable! The portions were gigantic! Michaela looked after our every need and couldn’t believe how she walked around with a genuine smile helping everyone, she made you feel like family!! Michaela went over and above and made you feel like royalty. We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you Trim Castle Hotel!
