We really liked it, despite the fact that the equipment and furniture look a little old. It even has its own charm. The room is very spacious. The room includes a kettle, bath and hairdryer. From the window there is a wonderful view of Porta Nigra. Excellent location (city center, near the train station). Multilingual, and, most importantly, very friendly and hospitable staff. Varied and plentiful breakfast.

Since all the attractions were closed the day before yesterday, I didn't see the former residence of Marx, who had the highest expectations for the trip to Germany. I was not reconciled and returned! The hotel’s breakfast is good and rich, as well as instant noodles. When checking in, the front desk asked the hotel to email the reservation form received when booking the hotel, and emphasized the importance. Very nice and good hotel. We spent a day in Luxembourg so we only spent the night here. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and many other things. The room we stayed in was comfortable, nice and clean. The hotel has double windows so you barely hear the traffic around you. Staff is friendly and they can also speak English with you. Parking is available at the hotel.

The location behind the main station, but without direct access, requires 30 minutes walk to both the station and the city centre. The rooms are rather small, but convenient and functional. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very good for a short stay and the parking was free.

The parking lot that comes with it has very few parking spaces, and the front desk staff suggested that we park in the nearby parking lot for a fee of 2 euros. There was a bed that could be opened on the wall behind the sofa. We booked two beds when we booked, but the hotel forgot to put the bed in place. The staff was asked to operate and the staff apologized. Breakfast is quite rich. Luggage can be stored at the front desk. At the time of check-out, the staff must provide us with an English version of the proof of payment, but Ctrip is only Chinese, and the Ctrip website is replaced with the Chinese language. I have been working on this for a long time! Isn't the entire process Ctrip not agreed with the hotel? A lot of wasted time.

Room is cleaned 1x every 3 days and the hand towels used are then discarded, so a nice mountain was dirty on the floor, not a pleasant face. No ventilation in the room, window can be at a ventilation stand, but if the room is on the front ( street side), the sound of traffic of the busy street is ALL ALL, the window must remain close but no fresh air is not fine. Too few parking places, really a disaster, and so ask when checking out: whether your car is in a HOTEL Parking,(and so money for questions) No, of course not, they are certainly insufficient. a hotel at the Nivo of a youth hostel, without any Hotel feeling, for me no repeat, Florin (NL) #2117 stay 13/10 to 20/10 2023

Perfect locarion, very close to the city center and at the same time far away from the city noise. Very clean and cosy rooms, delicious breakfast and nice atmosphere. It feels really like a home. If I have a chance to go again to Trier, I would definitely book this hotel again.

Unexpectedly, I didn't expect this place to be the hometown of Karl Marx. I got up early in the morning and went to the town to experience the local culture. The hotel has a great location with parking. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the former home of Marx. It is worth mentioning that the former residence of Marx is directly opposite a red tavern.
