July 22, 2025 - With no prior notice from the desk, Park Plaza hotel organized a special nightclub party in the interior patio, where all the superior rooms (including ours) are located. Deafening music until 10 p.m., with the windows closed in the middle of summer... After party, smoking people in the patio, then the smoke rised up to the room. Finally, all night long, the noise of the bathroom's mechanical ventilation system can be heard in the room. And if you sleep with the window open, the motors of the various air conditioning systems on the rooftops are completely audible.

We had the luxury of a big suite (134), which was well equipped, well maintained and very comfortable. The room is smart but not flashy or stylish. The aircon is powerful and acceptably quiet. Good breakfast. Great location - just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre. Parking is under the hotel with direct lift access. We need wheelchair access, and this suite has a separate, spacious and properly equipped wet-room bathroom, which is normally kept locked when guests don't need it. Perfect! Why don't more hotels have suites like this? If I have to find any faults then I'd point out that one of the two guest lifts was not working during the whole 4 days we were there, so there was sometimes a wait. Also, the lifts didn't need a room key to access the upper floors, which is unusual these days. But these are minor things, and I strongly recommend staying here.

Le petit déjeuner est fort varié et toujours bien achalandé. Le cadre moderne est agréable. Le personnel est professionnel quelque soit l'endroit de l'hôtel. Tout dans la chambre est parfaitement fonctionnel et pratique pour passer un bon séjour. J'ai passé un agréable moment aux thermes que ce soit au sauna, au 'hammam' ou encore au caldarium. Le cadre cherchant à imaginer une époque romaine est un plus.
