The location is great, away from the hustle and bustle, and a view of Trier.
Parking on site is no problem and for a large number of cars.
The hotel room is comfortable, has everything you need.

Das Berghotel Kockelsberg hat uns rundum begeistert. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight – große Auswahl, eine erstklassige Käseplatte, schmackhafte Wurst, perfekt zubereitetes Rührei und richtig guter Kaffee. Besonders nett: kostenloses, gekühltes Mineralwasser den ganzen Tag! Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus ein Traum! So lässt es sich leben. Die Zimmer sind schön, sauber und ordentlich, und die Aussicht ist einfach der Hammer. Die ruhige Lage direkt am Wald sorgt für eine entspannte, angenehme Atmosphäre. Viele Parkplätze sind vorhanden, und die Betreiber sind ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man spürt sofort die tolle Stimmung im Haus. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Een hotel waar de deuren om 19.30 op slot zijn, uitgestorven en donker binnen. In de caravanbrede kamer staan 2 bedden met een kastje ertussen, er is geen mogelijkheid om een kop thee of koffie te zetten. De badkamer heeft een douche die zo krap is dat je je niet kunt bukken om een stuk zeep op te rapen. De bril van de wc zit op 30 cm hoogte van de vloer en als je je tanden poetst, vecht je elleboog met de deur die naar binnen open gaat. De beheerders zijn 2 oude, stugge, onvriendelijke mensen die 's morgens een kaal ontbijt serveren.

Tolle Lage, aber enttäuschender Service
Wir hatten vor Kurzem die Gelegenheit, im Hotel in Trier zu übernachten und möchten unsere Erfahrungen teilen. Die Lage des Hotels ist zweifellos großartig und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Stadt Trier. Es ist definitiv ein Pluspunkt für dieses Hotel.
Leider muss ich sagen, dass der Service im Hotel enttäuschend war. Das Ehepaar, das das Hotel führt, schließt es bereits um 20:00 Uhr, was bedeutet, dass abends nichts mehr unternommen werden kann. Es ist frustrierend, dass man nicht einmal die Möglichkeit hat, etwas, selbst Wasser, zu kaufen, geschweige denn die herrliche Aussicht von der Terrasse zu genießen. Dies schränkt die Gäste in ihrer Freizeitgestaltung erheblich ein und mindert den Gesamtwert des Aufenthalts.

Als je van rust houdt is dit het! Hele rustige accommodatie waar echt niets te doen is. Bar/restaurant is dicht (vanwege personeelsgebrek) dus wil je wat drinken op het terras dan moet je je eigen drinken meenemen.
Kamers zijn prima, beetje oud, maar voor een nachtje is het prima te doen.
Centrum van Trier is niet te lopen, je moet met de auto gaan
