Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast

An average hotel in Philadelphia. If you have other options. Cleanliness can be improve.

This hotel is outdated and old to the point that it is not pleasurable to stay here nor worth the money. It is currently undergoing a renovation. I’m visiting for a wedding. My family and I are staying in rooms that are not renovated. I asked to move our rooms to the renovated section. They could not accommodate the request nor were they willing to provide a discount. It is unacceptable that the hotel is charging the same price for the two different types of rooms…one brand new and modern, the other a dump. Out of principle, I will not stay at a Raddison again. The hotel should recognize that people are aware of the difference in quality in rooms and charge accordingly. Our unrenovated rooms are in awful, outdated condition. The walls are paper thin. My sleep was interrupted throughout the night by a person coughing in the room next door. The duvet cover isn't large enough to cover the entire bed. The lighting throughout the room and bathroom isn’t sufficient. There is a mixture of incandescent and bright white LED bulbs throughout the room and bathroom. The bathtub’s base is rusted. The bathroom counter is very, very low and uncomfortable to wash your face and brush your teeth. The closet hanging rod is too low to hang my maxi dress. It’s dragging on the ground. The pillows are lumpy. I'm thankful I brought my own from home. On a trivial note, the curtains are ripped, the lamps shades are broken, the rug is stained in multiple places and worn and there are not outlets on each side of the nightstand to charge electronics for people in each of the double beds nor are there usb outlets. My advice is to avoid a Radison hotel as it does not care about the consumer and fairness. If you have no other choice, ensure you're in a renovated room here.

I chose the Radisson for my wedding room block because of how close it was to my venue, Pen Ryn. The rooms were updated, clean, spacious and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The bar was fun to go to after the wedding too. Jen Ruane was amazing to work with!!

We hosted 80 guests from around the world for our daughter's wedding including a welcome dinner. The dinner was wonderful. The newly renovated rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our guests used every amenity available at the hotel (pool, restaurant, fitness room, bar, etc.) and raved about them all. But the best part was the service and staff who went out of their way to meet all of our needs.

Comfortable but pricey. Room was clean and well kept. Some construction in progress but no noise during evening/morning hours. Room accessories all worked, Digital door keys worked reliably. We declined to have breakfast due to cost ($18/hd). Everything was fine but the room was pricey!
