The room smells bad, there is no free mineral water, the front desk service is very poor, the room is very small, the bed is two beds joined together. You have to stand in the bathtub to shower. I stayed in Europe for more than ten days, and this is the most expensive and worst hotel. The experience is very bad.

Despite some mix-ups on our part with the reservation the hotel was very accommodating with our requests. We were late arriving but staff was on hand and offered to bring some beverages to our room. The decor is well maintained and very comfortable. Easy access location and just a few steps from the main plaza in the historic center. An abundant breakfast buffet was offered. Would stay here again if in the area.

Moin Folks, weiter geht’s, eingecheckt im Hotel am Platz welches ich seit mehr als 3- Jahrzehnten persönlich kenne und alle Veränderungen erlebt habe. Für mich einfach geilogalaktisch und der Service sehr freundlich und auch sehr zuvorkommend 👍✅👍✅ Der Kellerpool✅🤩👍 das Restaurant 🌟🤩👍die Zimmer🌟👍🌟🤩 Ja auch der Terrassenbereich am Bergfelsen👍🌟🤩👍 Es ist einfach Trompetengalaktisch geil hier und für mich der Platzhirsch für immer und ewig👍 Einzig, der Parkplatz, da muss man flott sein, sonst ins Parkhaus, wenige Meter mehr, ist auch gesund und tut gut🙏👏

Nights in Trencin
Nice hotel located near historical castle.
Christmas market place is also nearby.
Breakfast has wide variation.
Noisy by Christmas party in the conference room until midnight.
There is no other reasonable hotel in this area, price of this hotel has been increasing every year.

Disappointed
I arrived at 9pm. I was hoping to get dinner at the hotel and as I went into the hotel a sign text in the entrence told me that the restaurant was open until 10pm. Perfect, until I went in there and was told only drinks was served. So I went to bed without food.
Entering my room I found a nice minibar with a nice selection. Only problem was that the cooling part was broken, so the content was only semi cold.
Having a shower in the morning took a athletic talent, because the hose was to short for the shower head to reach the holder. That ment that the hose was hanging across the bathtub making no room for me to stand under the water stream.
When I addressed the head of reception with my issues,I was told that the text telling about the opening hours of the restaurant was impossible to change and the minibar in the room was supposed to be kind of warm, i realised that this was my last stay here. I have stayed at this hotel many time from 2015 to 2018 and really enjoyed it.
Now its needs to be updated and the staff have stop telling stupid lies to cover the mistakes and wear and tear of this once fantastic hotel.
