The large spacious room was great!! We enjoyed the two full sized recliners , an amazing perk !!! The staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. The building is not new however it appears to have been well maintained. We enjoyed our experience there and will definitely be returning the next time we travel through the area.

This hotel is very old!! It is clean, as stated, but very dated. The sink is small and right next to the door, and the drain barely drained. The shower and bathroom were old. The ice machine was broken so no ice for our cooler. No elevators, so we got a room a little away from the breakfast room down the hall from the front desk. The breakfast was not very good. The only good I can say is that the mattresses were comfortable and there were no bad odors in the room. This is pretty close to the freeway, but we didn't notice excessive noise from that. For the $151.09 we paid for one night, it was not worth it at all!! The interesting thing is that I originally booked this room about a week earlier, and it was around $120. Apparently they just raised their rates!! There were other better hotels down the road which would have been worth paying a little more for. I am sorry we chose this one. We will not use them again!

All the hotels in Orem and surrounding areas around Salt Lake were full . It was a late night for us after a 12 hour drive. This property was recommended to us by the Hampton Inn in Farmington. A quick call secured us a room. As you pull up to it, the Western Inn looks like a vision from the past of family trips. When you enter, it's warm, welcoming, kitsch and fun and clean!!! That's just the lobby, the staff person was amazing, warm, and welcoming. He even offered to carry our bags. We had a simple room, 2 large double beds at a great rate, with an old school key that worked. The room was bright, exceptionally clean, well appointed. The bathroom was clean and simple, but well stocked. This showed the pride that the family owners and staff take in their facility, and that was evident in talking with the night clerking morning staff. The free breakfast was simple but filling and satisfying, a great start to your day. Overall, the Western Inn was a better and cleaner stay than many of its more well-known and more expensive hospitality counterparts. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property and definitely will stay there again in our travels. Safe, clean, and comfortable. What more could you ask for??

The Western Inn is a throwback to the one story motels of the 50's and 60's, so not you high rise modern lodging. But is was very clean, comfortable, quiet and very fairly priced. We were shocked to see we even had not one, but two Lazy Boy recliners in our little room. Location was nothing special, but like I noted, it was quiet. It's also family owned, which is a big plus for us. Daughter currently owns and operates it and it was opened by her parents, whose photograph sits on a table in the lobby. In corporate America, we love supporting family-owned businesses that are well run. Another plus was their washers and driers, which worked great and were doggone inexpensive compared to others we found in various motels and hotels. Breakfast was somewhat ordinary and in a relatively tiny room. But they did have scrambled eggs and the most fascinating pancake machine we've ever seen. Took me a while to figure it out. All you do is push one button and it drops batter onto a belt cooker that cooks the pancakes and "spits" them out onto your plate. I had to provide instruction to folks who came in after we got there. Most just stood there staring at it trying to figure out what to do. What a fun change from the usual waffle flipping machines! Go stay here just to check out that machine!

This was a very nice family run business. Very clean. The decor was done in a western theme. Also received a continental breakfast. If I’m passing through that way, I would definitely stay there again. The location was easy to get to and the price not too bad either. Parking was very accessible especially if you have an extra long rig.

We totally enjoyed the immaculate room and appreciated the warm greeting at the front desk. A nice, hot breakfast was available. I gave a “4” only because there was no coffee pot in the room, but there was a frig and microwave. After spending the night in an awful motel the night before, I was determined to stay at a well-known chain hotel. However, their high price led me next door to the Western Motel and I’m so glad we stayed there—would definitely recommend them.

Clean and comfortable hotel with really nice staff. Breakfast more than adequate with a pancake maker as well as eggs and toast. Western theme decor cuter than expected. Rooms good size. Close to the highway but no road noise unless you open the window. Half the price of Hampton Inn if you can forego the pool.

We stayed here after stop in Salt Lake City. The hotel was full. There is a lot of construction going on in the area so lots of workers were staying here at this time. Everyone was friendly. It was a quiet stay. The room was very large and clean. The breakfast was included. It was very good. We would stay here again.
