We stayed for 2 nights and everything about the hotel was perfect. Firstly THE VIEW wow just wow… Our room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and a terrace with lake views which we woke up to each morning. The pool was lovely and refreshing as not heated but after a hot day sightseeing it’s nice to take a dip. The staff were amazing and would help us with anything like booking reservations or recommendations for restaurants. The location is in a nice quiet spot up on the hill and because we had a car it was no problem or if you’re super fit walk up and down it’s up to you. The hotel is in good location to ferry port for Bellagio or Varenna with parking close by which the staff are happy to help with. We would recommend staying at Hotel La Perla for stunning views helpful staff clean comfortable rooms lovely food with free parking.

This is thee most excellent small family run hotel. The biggest challenge is finding it? You require a car as it is approx 0.75 miles off the main Como- Menaggio main road, up a single track and very narrow winding road. Careful in your approach but no worries as a phone call to the hotel and they provided clear guidance as to how to find them. Thank you To the hotel itself: From the friendly greeting on arrival to their heartfelt farewell on our departure, our 2 night stay was perfect. Welcomed by name then shown to our room, 108 which was a large suite with separate bedroom, living room area and large private terrace with sun loungers, table & chairs. Very private and as with the whole hotel , very quiet too & spotlessly clean throughout. NB: all rooms are below the main public areas so cooler. Extras offered were very much appreciated, such as giving us ferry timetables, offering to recommend local restaurants and especially explaining where to park locally to access the ferry terminal for Bellagio. Parking can be a real challenge throughout Lake Como! Lovely small pool with towels and sun loungers supplied. The best place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Ate at the hotel one evening . Pre order your meal. Delicious home cooked pasta dishes and desserts along with wines of your choice. Dined on the hotel patio giving us stunning views over Lake Como. Breakfast too was equally delicious & is available buffet style. What more to say except a huge thank you to every member of staff for a very enjoyable & memorable stay. I’m sure no 5 star hotel would be better! Can happily recommend to any visitors to the Lake Como area.

Ein wirklich schönes, sauberes Hotel mit einer sensationellen Aussicht. Die Gastgeberfamilie gibt sich sehr viel Mühe, jedem Gast den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Blick ist sensationell und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch ein Abendessen wird geboten, kleine Karte, aber alles sehr schmackhaft und lecker. Wir hatten uns aufgrund der Qualität des Essens und der atemberaubenden Aussicht dabei, für beide uns zur Verfügung stehenden Abende entschieden, im Hotel auf der Terrasse zu essen.

Zeer mooi familiehotel, proper, goed bed, lekker ontbijt. Je kan er ‘s avonds ook lekker eten, weliswaar een beperkte kaart met enkele goede Italiaanse schotels. Democratische prijzen ook de wijnen. Supervriendelijk onthaal en service door de eigenaars. Mooi zwembad met ligstoelen en parasols. Parking binnen met lift naar de kamers is een pluspunt. De eerste maal naar het hotel rijden is niet gemakkelijk, maar éénmaal je het traject kent is het oké.

Hôtel très agréable . L’accueil est chaleureux et convivial. Les chambres ont beaucoup de charme et sont très soignées . Il y a la possibilité de dîner le soir ; la carte est simple mais efficace . L’emplacement de l’hôtel est top ; nous avons pu découvrir tous les villages autour du Lac de Côme sans utiliser notre voiture qui est restée tout notre séjour au parking . En effet, l’accès au ferry depuis l’hôtel est très simple .Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel et avons hâte d’y retourner .

Les proprietaires sont au petit soin avec leurs clients. L hotel est idealement situé afin de visiter toutes les villes du lac de Côme. Nous avons été ravi. L hotel est très propre. Il est très calme. La piscine est très parfaitement entretenue.

Belle hôtel familial, avec une très belle vue sur le lac de Côme. Au calme et près d'un embarcadère. Ils parlent plusieurs langues et sont très accueillant. Seul petit bémol, le coin pour le petit déjeuner est un peu exigu et on si bouscule beaucoup.

Séjour en couple, très belle découverte, hôtel situé idéalement, vue splendide sur le lac, emplacement très calme, Greenway à quelques pas. Hôtel familial, personnel aux petits soins, toujours très souriant, apportant de très bons conseils aux clients. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel La Perla in May 2025. The hilltop location with stunning views over Lake Como was absolutely perfect, and the staff were kind and attentive. Despite some rainy weather, the cozy atmosphere made it even more memorable. A surprise encounter with mountain goats during a hike was a delightful local touch. Highly recommended — we’d love to return!
