A lovely stay, made by the wonderful staff, all of whom were completely charming. Great meal in the brasserie. This was the first meal of our holiday and they have set a standard that it will be difficult to match! Thank you.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic two night visit. At arrival we were made most welcome and immediately felt at home. We went to the Stirling Brasserie on the first night and enjoyed excellent local sirloin steaks. On both mornings we feasted on tasty proper breakfasts. On our first morning we had booked the Spa and the Hot Tub was a lovely experience. I enjoyed a relaxing back and neck massage and my wife was astounded by how much the reflexologist knew about her just by feeling her feet ! On our second night we went for the Fine Dining Experience and also went for the option of including their choice of wines to accompany our chosen choices on the menu. Simply and absolutely a superb experience and fantastic value for money. I would advise booking in advance to ensure you can also experience this worthwhile extravaganza. It was in my humble opinion at least at a Michelin standard of cuisine. Finally I would add that throughout our stay and at the restaurants all the staff were so accommodating, friendly , went the extra mile and just wanted to please so that it cemented a great and thoroughly enjoyable overall experience.

Amazing food, service and value. Each dish was a piece of art and looked too good to eat, then the flavours were extraordinary and superb with one flavour enhancing another. A truly wonderful evening and the price was also incredible for the exquisite food we had eaten.

Me and my wife are so fortunate to have hosted our wedding here in June 2025, and it is honestly everything we could have dreamed for and more. Lauryn, Mandy and Lowri have been fantastic all the way through the process. I hope this review can leave the reader with no doubts. The food, rooms, spa, staff, location and function room is everything you could wish for. I will write a very detailed 5* review, in the hope it will benefit any future bride / grooms or even visitors to the hotel. From the earliest point of contacting the hotel, we were encouraged to arrange a meeting with the owners of the hotel to talk about what the hotel had to offer as a wedding venue. The meeting was extremely pleasant, welcoming and all options were laid out clearly and concisely. We left there with no queries, and certainty that we wanted our wedding here. We then paid a deposit. We were then in regular contact with the (then) wedding planner Lowri. Lowri was brilliant, extremely enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated to the wedding. Lowri arranged me and my wife to have a "taster session" where we could sample the potential food options. This was treated as a date night for us, and we fell in love with the foods that ultimately became our wedding breakfast menu. Lowri was happy to make any adjustments to any of the options, and she showed how truly flexible the venue could be. On the date night, Lowri sat down with us and her book and understood all of the requirements and offered her own opinions, which were extremely valued, we discussed other suppliers, evening food, canopy options, welcome drinks, toaster drinks and so on. The options were endless, and we left feeling Lowri knew exactly what we wanted - we were settled, and at ease. Lowri ultimately left for a career change before our wedding took place, and we were contacted by Lowri notifying us of this. Her role was then taken over by Lauryn. Lowri and Lauryn arranged a meeting with my wife, almost as a "hand over". This again shows the professionalism. This meeting went extremely well, and my wife left this meeting with no worries, we were in good hands with Lauryn. Lauryn was then in regular contact with us, and leading up to the week of the wedding, she was keeping us updated as much as needed. She even went to the extent of ironing the table cloths and sending pictures of the function room, when she wasn't due to be working! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, it went as planned. Every single staff member was phenomenal. The venue is a well oiled machine for sure. The food is incredible, our guests agreed. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bridal suite especially. Mandy, Lauryn and Lowri have been fantastic, and we are forever grateful to you.

We have just celebrated our daughter’s wedding at this lovely hotel and l can honestly say what a fantastic venue, well set out, very clean, the food was to die for, the staff were amazing no request was to small they were all polite and respectful. The bedrooms were clean and well maintained. The owners and the wedding planner went over and beyond to make the whole day a special celebration, we would highly recommend this establishment.

This is our second visit to the Wolfscastle Country Hotel. On both occasions we have been delighted with the service, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the food in the restaurant. We highly recommend the Wolfscastle Country Hotel and look forward to staying there in the near future. One observation - With the ever increasing numbers of electric vehicles on the road and EV charger would be very helpful.

We came to use the Restaurant as I had eaten here last year on a spa day and had the best need burger I'd ever had. We were nearby and checked online to book a table but it said there wasn't any for nearly 2 hours. Luckily we called to check and they said to come in..no need to book. We arrived and I explained we had come for the best beef burgers! A few minutes later the lady returned and said unfortunately the burgers were not on the menu today so would we mind reordering. It wasn't a huge issue and they then offered us a complimentary starter so we had the duck balls which were amazing. We ordered the minute steak and fish and chips and it was all delicious! Would highly recommend eating here as the food was divine, the staff where fantastic and it was just a lovely place to eat!
