What a wonderful find and beautiful region. The family that own the hotel could not have been friendlier or more accommodating from the moment we arrived, Annafel greeted us and showed us to our room, which was in the adjoining annex. It was a lovely spacious suite with a rustic character and a large leather sofa. Steps led down to a sumptuous bathroom in the cellar, complete with a sauna and spa bath. As we arrived at the end of the season and were the only guests on the first night, the restaurant was closed but reopened for the following two nights, when more guests arrived. The food was regional and very well prepared, as was the breakfast that offered an excellent selection. A special mention has to be made of Antonio, hotel manger & son of the owners, he was so friendly, helpful and fluent in many languages, he give us advice on what to do in the area and arranged dinner for us on the first evening at a local bar. The only slight disappointment was we should have checked that being out of season and due to current regulations imposed due the drought, was that the spa was only available by pre-booking and took a few hours to prepare, so we did not manage to use it but it looked fabulous!

La estancia nos la ha hecho agradable el recepcionista que nos atendió desde el primer momento con una gran sonrisa y nos atendió nuestras demandas. Y otra persona a destacar Toño,el joven que también nos hizo de camarero durante la cena y el desayuno. Ambos son encantadores y profesionales.

My greatest recomendations for this hotel. Very nice and knowledge staff that make you feel as part of the family. The building is very nice and fresh with good views of the mountains. This hotel make a real difference to your vacation. Go there!

We just finished a week vacation in the area where we stayed at 4 different hotels and the El Privilegio was the best. The staff was super pleasant and the meals were good. I would strongly recommend a stay here and hope we will come back.

This was a hidden gem that we somehow managed to find and oh my goodness ‘what a find it was’. Extremely friendly staff/owners who were ever so welcoming and full of guidance and great information. Our room was comfortable and clean and provided with a lovely view. Great walking tracks in the warmer months. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Estuvimos pasando el fin de semana de Nochevieja en familia y como siempre salimos encantados. La habitación era increíble: espaciosa, bien decorada, 2 baños... Los desayunos, que ahora son servidos en mesa, muy completos: te ofrecen embutidos, fruta, repostería casera... Y por supuesto el ambiente de la noche de fin de año con mucha seguridad y cumpliendo las normativas COVID exigidas. Las mesas del gran comedor estaban a mucha distancia, pocos comensales, con corrientes de aire cada cierto tiempo... Por último agradecer el cariño, amabilidad y profesionalidad con los que, todo el personal, trata a sus clientes. Hasta la próxima!

Aunque el servicio fue muy amable, estuvimos 2 noches con ellos y nos llenamos de chinches!! Las sabanas tenian unas manchas que no reconocimos pero que ahora mi esposo y yo estamos infestados de chinches! Tendremos que tirar todo, maletas y ropa!!
