Good location, right next to the train station and not too far from the harbor

Entrance to the hotel was not clearly communicated by the vendors. We had to call the front desk to figure out access around the corner. The bathroom door was broken so we couldn't close it properly (kept swinging open)- reported it and not attended to during our stay. The parking voucher was VERY poorly dealt with!! We pre-paid and on using our voucher to exit the parking garage it was NOT accepted. We contacted the desk at the hotel and despite being told someone would come down to the garage to help us, no-one arrived despite several calls. When we called back for further help, the desk clerk HUNG UP ON US!! We requested a refund on our prepaid parking costs and a call back to confirm a refund, which we NEVER received! Thankfully MC finally refunded us when we pursued it on OUR OWN. Due to being trapped in the parking garage for over an hour we missed out on a pre-paid event at our next destination. This venue is a reasonable price for Toulon, but VERY bad customer service. As we were visiting from Canada, and leaving for home a few days later, we had no opportunity to make up for our ruined itinerary.

Slippery bathroom floor It was a simple room, with few outlets but OK. The biggest problem was that I had a spectacular wipeout in the bathroom. It was partially my fault as I didn't use the towel bath mat, but the floor was extremely slippery as there was no separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom floor (no barrier to the water). I advised the hotel that they should coat the floor with some slip-resistance coating. When the WiFi didn't work the second day, the front desk gave me another network which worked.
