Por lo único que se salva es por la amabilidad y simpatía de los anfitriones, por lo demás es un fiasco. Como un hostal de dos estrellas en España si llega. Desayuno muy justo, habitaciones demasiado austeras, sin televisión, ni nevera, con el calor que hace en Tortuguero, habitaciones algunas muy pequeñas, y otras muy ruidosas, porque donde dan los desayunos se monta mucho follón, no descansamos y dormí una media de tres horas por noche. Está un poco lejos de donde desembarcan las lanchas. Tiene acceso a la playa, pero no merece la pena cogerlo por eso.

Estuvimos una noche en Icaco y no podemos decir nada malo. En principio teniamos reservadas dos noches pero por temas de itinerio decidimos hacer todas las visitas de Tortuguero de forma expres y nos dieron todas las facilidades para poder cancelar una noche sin ningún coste, incluso avisando el día de antes. Muy amables, nos ayudaron con la gestión de las excursiones (que nos encantaron) y estuvieron a nuestra disposición en todo momento. Es un lugar sencillo, no tiene lujos, pero si buscas un sitio simplmemente para descansar y estar tranquilo, es tu lugar.

Super Hôtel au bord de de la mer des caraïbes et avec une piscine. Personnel très sympa comme tous les Costa ricains Petit déjeuner excellent avec choix possibles Hôtel à 2 pas du village et tout ce fait à pied, dépaysement total Nous recommandons

Nicely located hotel.
Nice hotel, very close to jaguar trail and the beach. Was a 5/10 min walk into town for restaurants. As it is slightly outside the town it was nice and quiet.Room basic but had hot water and wi fi.Staff great and helped me navigate paying my park fees online.
