Tortuguero Beachfront has many things going for it. It's a perfect location, set a half block off the main street, on the ocean side. You get the lovely ocean breeze, and easy access to the beach. It's a two minute walk to the dock and all the activities/tours, and a 5 minute walk to the National Park. The staff and breakfasts were wonderful. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and really enhance the experience. We saw toucans and iguanas on the property. Our only complaint is that the double room is way too small, uncomfortably so. We asked to be switched to a bigger room, which they accommodated. The bathroom was still tiny, The pool serves its purpose, and is in a nice setting, but definitely not a resort feel. overall, would come back because of the location and grounds.

A pesar de que el pueblo de tortuguero es realmente espantoso, y el hotel es totalmente austero, lo que salvó la estadia es que los tours de las caminatas en el parque nacional de tortuguero , sobre todo el de la canoa y el tour nocturno son realmente maravillosos, ves muchisimos animales como perezosos, tucanes, monos araña, en su habitat y la gente en realidad es super amable y te tratan super bien por lo que se te llega realmente a olvidar el entorno.... sugiero que podrian hacer algo por ese pueblo ya que esta muy deteriorado y da muy mal aspecto....y poner una television en las habitaciones del hotel....

El hotel tiene excelente ubicación, tiene acceso directo a la playa y piscina. Está rodeado de restaurantes de buena calidad y cerca del embarcadero. Su personal es súper amable, atento, en especial Mauricio, muchísimas gracias! El desayuno está incluido en la tarifa el cual es bastante bueno y variado. Se pueden comprar tours en la recepción del hotel.

Le pongo una estrella por la ubicación y porque la habitación estaba limpia. Por el servicio no volvería ni os lo recomiendo. Nos han tratado muy mal, en la recepción accidentalmente rompimos una decoración y nos cobraron 50dolares por ello. Lo que más me duele es que al hablarlo con ellos afirman que mi hijo lo rompió queriendo hacer una travesura. Allí había un montón de personas que pueden corroborar que fue un accidente. Además de que tenían las mesitas bajas llenas de decoraciones frágiles que se podía caer sólo con rozarlas al pasar. Negocio asegurado. Además me querían cobrar en efectivo y me daban un papelito que no tenía ni el membrete del hotel. Y lo que finalmente me han enviado como factura deja mucho que desear. El personal de servicio en general era bastante poco amable por no decir desagradable. El desayuno pobre y la piscina es más una bañera de plástico anclada en el suelo. Además tenían otra pequeña que estaba vacía. El aire acondicionado de la habitación hacia un ruido tremendo. La zona playa no tiene ningún cuidado ni servicio. Precio de resort y el servicio peor que en muchos sitios mas modestos. Totalmente decepcionada.

Posizione centrale ottima per ogni attività. Camere abbastanza silenziose in mezzo ad un giardino rigoglioso pieno di uccelli a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dal paese. Personale molto gentile.

Nice location just off the main street of the small village. Located on the beach (not swimmable due to high surf but lovely for a walk). Beautiful small pool set in the pretty gardens. Great to watch the tropical birds in the lovely garden outside our room. Clean basic rooms were comfortable. Modern bathroom. Nice open area lounge at reception. Beautiful artwork. Buffet meals included with our GAdventures group tour were varied and plentiful. Rooms, common areas and gardens were all very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
