It's hard to imagine you can call staying at a property with the nightly rates that are being charged here as good value, but amazingly it is.
This is by far the best property I have ever had the joy of staying at, the attention to detail is second to none. All of the staff are amazing and make the stay feel like you're part of a family, you can spend all day just wandering around the grounds there are so many little details to find and the pool is to die for.
The nightly dinners are some of the best you'll ever have, and the breakfast is a whole other level. Rooms are immaculate, feel like the level of luxury you'd expect for the price, but manages to feel really homely and not souless like some higher end properties can often become.
Only bad thing I can say is that we spent 3 weeks in Italy after this stay and it ruined the rest of the trip for us because nothing can compare to this property. We stayed at other villas in Tuscany with similar ratings/price tags but Lupaia just has something else that the others can't replicate.

Posto davvero meraviglioso, in mezzo alla natura . Le camere sono spettacolari come tutto lo Staff. Abbiamo provato il ristorante sia per cena che per pranzo e devo dire che la qualità dei prodotti sono davvero eccezionali. Merita sicuramente una tappa o magari un bel week end se volete far rimanere piacevolmente colpita la vosta dolce metà!

There is something so special about Lupaia. It has spirit, soul, and a kindness. From the second we arrived we felt at home when Christine kindly greeted us with local wine and showed us around. Our room was so comfortable and had stunning views of the Tuscan hills. There was turn down service every night and a daily cleaning service. We also had laundry done and it came back pressed in a little basket. We had an unforgettable wine tasting with Silvio and and amazing, special cooking class with Giulia. Every morning at breakfast Emma was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and the farm fresh eggs are amazing. The texting concierge service is fantastic - we often used it simply to have a delicious cappuccino brought to us in the evening. Prior to our stay Christine helped us coordinate all our activities including a special day trip to Montalcino to taste Brunello. Dinner every night was nothing short of amazing. It’s a tasting menu that changes every night and it was fantastic. We had wonderful dinner service from Alessio and Damian’s. We will never forget our perfect honeymoon here and we will be back. Thank you to all of of you who put so much love, care, and soul into making Lupaia so special. Katherine and Henry

Wow just wow . What a truly magical place to get away for a few days . We absolutely loved our visit to Lupai. 12 rooms so you are never far from a cosy place to relax and have solitude if that’s what you desire. The rooms are gorgeous, the food is out of this world , the relaxed vibe with the open kitchen , all of it superb. Then there is the staff . Never interfering but just on hand . Special people all of them. Big shout out to Roberta and Christine two lovely humans . The perfect place to explore Pienza , Montelpuciano and the Val dorcia but perfect place to also cuddle up with a book and do nothing. Thank you Lupai we will be back.

We stayed here for one night on our Tuscan road trip.This was heaven from start to finish.The staff couldn't do enough for us,the room was fabulous,the pool,the location and food absolutely outstanding.We could have stayed for longer.Christine was awesome and so helpful.Highly recommend.

Heaven in Tuscany
My partner and I stayed at the heavenly Lupaia to start our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The incredible attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Every part of our stay was outstanding, from the brilliant team (each and every one of them) to the setting, the stunning pool, wonderful food and atmosphere - we cannot wait to come back to this Tuscan paradise!

Magical Stay!
Lupaia was magical! It exceeded all of our expectations and the staff was amazing. We also took the cooking class, which was fun, informative, and delicious! If you want to stay at a piece of paradise near Montepulciano, stay here!
