The hotel had lovely spacious rooms with high ceilings. Everyone was quite helpful and did enjoy the dinner at the hotel

Hotel was a great location with history and views of the river and bridge, convenient parking. All staff were friendly, attentive and professional, dinner in the brasserie was lovely with good wine list to accompany excellent home made food. Room was perfect, generous size and very comfortable for a food nights sleep. Thank you!

Lovely hotel adjacent to the ancient Bideford bridge. 1930’s feel about the property, good staff and service and good room. Hotel lacks concierge service which is relevant as no outside parking/stopping makes baggage handling an issue as the hotel is located on a busy roundabout. There is overnight car parking but again this across the other side of the busy roundabout. If visiting on a bus trip then this is not an issue.

A great hotel in Bideford that has clearly been lovingly restored to former glories! The staff were excellent; food was great and the room very comfortable. Highly recommended and a great location for when visiting North Devon.

Stayed here for just one night whilst down on business, however for a 3 star hotel, this was an excellent stay. All staff very friendly and assisting. Rooms clean and have all what you need and would expect. Breakfast was very good. All in all, a great place to stay for business or leisure in a great location.

Good food and service. Nice location opposite the river. Allowing dogs into the eating areas is unpleasant and perhaps the hotel could review its policy on allowing dogs.

We are currently on holiday in Bideford and the hotel kindly managed to squeeze in our family of 12. We could not fault our visit-the food was lovely (particularly the sea bass), the restaurant (and the toilets) were very clean and well decorated and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you!
