Location: Frequently praised for being within 5 minutes of Capitol Reef National Park entrance, near a main road, and close to a Mexican restaurant.

Review: Misleading and Disappointing Experience — Not Recommended I booked this hotel based on the online pictures and descriptions, but the reality couldn’t have been more different. This place is definitely a motel than a hotel, and the photos are extremely deceiving. The rooms are nothing like elegant, tranquil accommodations shown online and promised. What the website does not mention is that all rooms have outside-facing doors, which may be a dealbreaker for some. Also, the hotel does not mention that they don’t offer breakfast, which was a surprise since many travelers expect that included. The Mexican restaurant advertised is completely separate from the hotel. Upon checking in, the front desk area had some strange unpleasant odor, which also lingered slightly in the rooms. The afternoon front desk staff was unfriendly, not welcoming, and could barely speak English, making it difficult to get clear information or helpful tips or recommendations about the area. The rooms themselves are far from elegant — the bedding and blankets looked very used and worn out. The WiFi was painfully slow, which made it frustrating to get anything done online. Despite what the website suggests, there is no easy or scenic stargazing access from the rooms. Overall, this place was a letdown on nearly every front. It’s misleading, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. If you’re looking for comfort, reliability, and honest advertising, do yourself a favor and avoid this one.

Everything was fantastic and location close to the park entrance. Good pricing too. Front desk and cleaning staff were professional and helpful.
