Der pure Nepp. 0,3 Bier in der Flasche: 8 US$.

Overpriced and inconveniently located. Hospitality was lacking. The gravel road to get to the hotel is awful. The dinner menu was limited and extremely overpriced. Do not stay here.

That being said, and with the correct expectations, this place offers a unique experience to see the region. I was the only and last guest before the close for the season, so it was lonely, but that just made it better for me. Every day my guide wold pick me, we crossed the river and spent days searching for pumas. The food was really good. I was lucky to have the head chef himself prepare my meals. There was no menu. The first day they asked about food restrictions and just made a three course meal based on that. I had lamb prepared by a gaucho and good wine while an armadillo roamed outside the kitchen .The views are amazing. The room was clean and nice, with hot water and heater. This is not for everyone. This is not a hotel. This is not luxurious. I had done my research, including reading some really bad reviews here, but I understood that Tercera Barranca cannot be judged as a hotel.

Terrible location, horrible road to reach the Torres del Paine park. Nobody told us we would need to cross a river to reach the Park in a reasonable time, otherwise you need to drive 1,5 hours each way (3 hours in total) in rocks to reach the Park entrance ! Overpriced food, and an actual operating farm, with livestock around !

The hotel is average. Very difficult to get in and a long drive to the Torres del Paine Park. The food, the hotel and the experience is extremely overpriced. Also, carefully with the reservation, they have no flexibility at all and you might end up loosing money.

Bad experience here, except for the staff who was nice. We had an important water leak in our bathroom. We complained to the lady at the reception and have been told that she didn’t know anything about it. Too bad, we’d just read before in a comment here that the people who where before us had the same problem! The meal was very basic but extremely expensive. We had during all the length of our stay a huge can full of paint in front of our door without any reason and the outdoors were very dirty. Not recommended at all

Terrible location to visit the Torres national park and far too expensive for what you get. The google maps location is wrong so you are 1-1-5 hours from the park down very rough roads using extra fuel with no nearby gas stations (Puerto Natales is >100km away). The property does have a nice view of the mountains from a distance if you don’t want to visit. During my stay the WiFi only worked at reception, the sink leaked water onto the floor, the water was just room temperature and the heat worked sporadically so the first night the room was very cold. The staff is nice. They were willing to provide a free dinner if I guaranteed to check out early so they could free up the room.
