Impossível não elogiar o profissionalismo e a atenção do gerente Oscar. Sempre atento às nossas necessidades, ofereceu -nos acomodação importantíssima para nossa condição de saúde. E quando a meteorologia não permitiu a navegação do catamarã, cuidou de todos com esmero. Registro que em minhas duas viagens ao Chile nunca havia sido tão bem tratado como fomos pelo Oscar. Desejamos muito sucesso profissional. No mais, estamos satisfeitos com as instalações, como estruturas dia quartos, área de camping, banheiro, vizinha coletiva, minemarketing, restaurante. Destaque para a limpeza e excelente atendimento da equipe capitaneada pelo Oscar. Deixamos nosso muito obrigado por tudo. Que Deus abençoe o Refúgio Paine Grande.

The Refugio is fantastic and the people are so nice - we’ve had the place to ourselves as it’s winter so it may be different in summer but we’ve had such a great experience. Comfortable rooms, amazing and plentiful food, lovely wood burning stoves. A great place to rest and recharge after a hard day walking.

Buena estructura para recibir a los excursionistas, la mayoría de los empleados del establecimiento son amables y serviciales, pero un empleado está fuera de lugar, actúa de manera grosera e inoportuna y termina brindando una pésima experiencia, arruinando el día de los turistas. A mí y a otro turista nos pasó el otro día.

This refugio was the best refugio ever! The reception is super super friendly and helped us lots. Oscar and Romina were great! Definitely stay here !! (the food and mini market were also super good. Warm showers and a nice heated area inside to chill)

O lugar é lindo, a área do refúgio é a melhor de todos os outros campings. Bem espaçoso, várias áreas com lareira pra esquentar e secar roupas e sapatos. Os banheiros estavam bastante limpos, também espaçosos, box para chuveiros era bem bom, água super quente. Fomos recepcionados pelo Oscar, funcionário super educado, nos explicou tudo perfeitamente, no recebeu muito bem. Vínhamos de uma noite bem cansativa do Grey, onde ficamos em barraca e passamos muito frio, o Oscar nos auxiliou para migrar nossa reserva para um quarto e salvou nossa noite. Tudo perfeito. A área para cozinhar também é bem ampla, a área do camping havia plataformas para que as barracas não fiquem diretamente no chão, o que ajuda muito no tempo úmido e frio.

Lovely place with fires going in many rooms. Staff was fantastic with a special shout out to Oscar. He performed many roles. Food was also hearty and excellent. Bathrooms and showers were clear. Tents were situated very close to the refusio.

Most fantastic hike in the world!! Support staff is unbelievable. Especially Oscar at Refugio Paigne Grande! This is the most unspoiled natural wilderness coupled with magnificent mountains, forests and aqua blue lakes. We hiked the W with expert guides organized through Marathon Tours. Everything was perfect! Don’t let the remoteness and travel challenges stop you - it’s worth it!!!

Oscar did an amazing job managing the hotel between him and 3 other staff members. They ensured phenomenal service, delicious meals, electricity, heat from a fireplace, and hot showers. I've never experienced such amenities in such a remote location. Chilean Patagonia really knows how to do hiking right.

After a long day of hiking we returned to the refugeo and found a Comfy warm bed, brilliant service, the entire team were welcoming and friendly, topped off with a great dinner. Nothing was too much trouble. The fireplaces kept us warm and marked a lovely place for a fireside chat
