Located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, it is very convenient to drive to Naples and Pompeii. It was an unexpected surprise of this trip! The landlord's family really makes travelers feel at home, with all kinds of attentive care, and you can get many good suggestions you want. The tasteful interior decoration is hidden under the simple appearance of the country villa. The various facilities in the room are also very comfortable, and the hot water response is particularly fast. I like the rich breakfast every day the most. It is cooked by the landlord's mother. The fruits come from the landlord's orchard. I especially like the sweet figs! I originally planned to stay for only one day, but my family asked to stay for another night after checking in! So we stayed for two nights in total!

A must stay
The Villa is beautiful, tastefully restored and decorated with great care. It is obvious that the owners and staff love what they do and want your stay to be an experience to remember. The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. I would suggest a few days here to really soak in the whole thing.
We were there with our three teenage boys and even they were impressed and appreciated all of the special touches.

Wundervoll historisches Ambiente
Michele und sein Bruder haben hier einen wundervollen Ort wie aus einer anderen Zeit geschaffen. In jedem Möbelstück ist ein Stück Herz der Eigentümer vorhanden und alle Zimmer sind mit Liebe und Sachverstand restauriert und eingerichtet. Wer mal königlich, historisch übernachten möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Am meisten habe ich den wundervollen Sonnenuntergang auf unserer Terrasse und den Blick auf Capri genossen. Und natürlich das abendlich Bad im Whirlpool ;-)

Hidden gem, beautifully restored and comfortable.
We were delighted by our stay at Villa De Cillis Carafa. This villa is beautifully restored in incredible detail. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. The weather was quite hot during our visit but our room was very cool with effective air conditioning. The location is remarkable, with an excellent view of Mt. Vesuvius and pleasant grounds including lemon trees. The staff were also top notch: extremely knowledgeable about the history of the property and the area.

Out-of-the world holiday
We stayed for a week as a family, and had the most wonderful time thanks to our amazing, kind, and knowledgeable hosts, who were incredibly helpful to give us the most useful information tailored to our interests, and often the information that only the locals would know. Although I think it is possible to access the villa by a public transport, hiring a car from the airport would be recommended although it is quite a challenge to drive in Italy. Location is fantastic, about 30min drive to the Naples airport, Naples city, Pompei, Sorrento, etc., and about 1hr drive to Amalfi. Local beach is lovely, with beautiful sunset. Rooms are very clean, with a cleaner coming in everyday, and the amazing breakfast made the stay even more special with varieties of freshly baked pastry and cakes, with a view of the Vesuvius in the background. I should also note that the ground and the building of the villa themselves are so grand and inviting. We wanted to stay there forever!
