Had a fine overnight stay here with my family. If staying any longer, would recommend the Wyndham or one of the bigger resorts. We used the room to ready for a wedding Putting make up on in the room was a challenge with the lighting, even during the daytime, being quite dim.

The Hotel/ Motel is located in a good area for an easy walk to any restaurants or cafes. The rooms we had where located at the far end away from any road noise. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. Being a hotel/ motel you do not have to walk far for some cold beverages or a meal.

Pros: 1) The location is perfect to start / end the Great Ocean Road. 2) The tariff is cheap. 3) The place is easy to find and there is parking available right in front of the hotel. 4) The room and bathroom were clean 5) The wifi was free with good connectivity and speed. 6) There is a very good front end restaurant. 7) The place is quiet at night with good sleep quality. Cons: 1) Front desk is not 24/7 2) It took a very long time for the hot water to start working.

Visited Torquay on our way through to the Great Ocean Road. Decent accommodation, clean, quiet and everything you would require. Location wise, good for a walk down to the beach and along. Neighbouring shops close and easy distance. Dined in the pub the same evening. Food was as to be expected. Decent quality and good portions. Offering WiFi access in the room would be a benefit.

never been here. looks nice. nice area and trees. nice garden easy to get to beach ate food at a different place was much nicer. pillows are comfy and yummy. ate worms out of your garden and dirt with a bit of grass

Went for a Friday night at Torquay. The place we love to eat wasnt open so thought lets do the pub. Ive been in food for 40 yrs and can not remember having such good meals. My goodness, the Rump & Scotch were outstanding and lamb cutlets and shoulder were the bomb. FOH team were so friendly and very accomodating. Thankyou to the Chefs for getting it right. I know where ill be eating from now on

Came in at 6 after travelling all day. No booking for dinner but seated straight away. Sat in the front ‘cocktail’ bar. Loved it !!!! So beautifully renovated with fire place and tv. Watched the AFL preliminary final. Great food. Great drinks. Staff were so friendly. Tammy who looked after us was fantastic- told us about the area, great service. Stayed here the night. Clean and tidy room. Had great pillow and didn’t get a headache. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

My wife and I propped at the Torquay Hotel for a drink and dinner. What a superb place. My seafood linguine was delicious, full of seafood and a good touch of chilly. My wife’s chowder, with ample servings of pippies was also fantastic. Add in friendly service and a great location and we’d heartily recommend it.
