Got to the hotel a little after 9 am as my flight got in earlier than expected. It was raining and cold. Was wondering if they'd have a room that early to give me and yes they did😁😃😄I was checked in immediately and given a room on the 29th floor. Lovely room with a view of CN TOWER. Nothing was lacking. Room was fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. All the staff I encountered during my 4 night's stay was very pleasant and helpful. I am looking forward to my next trip to Toronto in August and I will be rebook this hotel for sure. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to everyone there who made my stay there a memorable one.

Stayed 2 nights to catch a baseball game! Cons - view was a empty parking garage, a bit noisy from hallway, just could hear doors closing loudly but our floor was still nice and quiet, and the make-up mirror was broken (so these were the only real cons) Pros - We loved it, Location is Fantastic, so close to Union Station 5 minute walk, close to Rogers Stadium, CN Tower, Aquarium & Harbourfront, we went for breakfast at the St Lawrence Market, a 20 second walk and then we also had a lovely 15 minute walk to the Distillery District. Staff were sooo friendly and accommodating! We only had one meal in the Cafe/Bistro, but it was great (Breakfast) and staff were sooo nice! Beds were comfy!!! Hotel and rooms were super clean! It really was a great place to stay, we will def stay there again!

Check-in was easy after hours even though will be charged a late check in fee. Staff are okay, some not too friendly but night security guy was very helpful at welcoming. The location is awesome as you have close access to the streetcar, metro stations 5-10 minutes' walk and easy access to fast food and grocery stores. The dorms are spacious; however, the downside is if you end up with a top bunk there is not power outlet access as they are all on the bottom so you may have to power up in the sitting area outside the dorm or next door in the common area (kitchen and lounges). There have been complaints about the unhoused encampment across the street in the park, but it wasn't as much as expected but still quite the eye sore for the business but it's manageable as its pretty much people walking their dogs. The place is very clean, which is strictly enforced and a good thing (especially the kitchen). I like that! The next time I am in Toronto I will definitely stay here and would recommend. Clarence Park saved me hundreds of dollars on a near the airport hotel.

This hotel was very easy to book through Titanium elite services. They made the process very easy and gave us a nice upgrade. They were very helpful with accommodating with the suite that offers a small full kitchen including dishwasher, silverware, microwave, regular size fridge, kitchen sink, coffee maker Lots of living room space and tv in living-room and bedroom. Easy for parking. They have space outside for large F250 trucks since a truck won’t fit in their covered parking.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. (Also requiring keycard access.) The offerings consisted of the usual combination of hot & cold items. Overall, we wer

The staff are lovely at the hotel and extremely helpful. The room was clean and basic. It is right on a flight path, but the noise is not noticeable at night. Parking is covered so problematic if you drive a larger vehicle such as a pick-up truck. No other options nearby to park. The restaurant is good and their staff helpful but has limited choices. This makes it difficult for those who have food restrictions. The Internet is slow, and TV is a little baffling regarding figuring out channels but that could be me not figuring it out properly. It is a pleasant hotel with courteous staff. Very responsive to communications as well.

We stayed at the DoubleTree in September prior to flying to Greece and were really impressed! Everything was very clean and the decor was modern and updated. Robert, our server at the Taza Grill, was delightful to talk to, and the meal was excellent. Joseph and the front desk staff were very friendly and professional and the airport shuttle driver, Qurshi, had a wonderful sense of humour and helped to make our experience a really enjoyable one. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding
ZZHIHUAService, environment, have nothing to say, is a very good hotel, after staying for three days, we went to the United States, always compared with this hotel, all aspects are still good for this hotel, breakfast is all cold, if it is China People can't stand the stomach.
XXiariqinghuanvvThe location is in the center of Downtow, which is first-class and convenient. Opposite is the Royal Museum, Ceramics Museum, etc. It is worth visiting. There are 2 supermarkets, TIM coffee, and McDonald's on the left and right of the hotel. About 200 meters to the left is Luxury Street, LV, and Van Cleef & Arpels. There are all kinds of treasures, so you can just walk around and browse. It is really a surprise. The hotel has a classic style, there are not many people, there are no tour groups, and it is not noisy. I like it. There is no buffet for breakfast, it's a la carte, which is pretty good. I particularly like the large amount of hot water in the bathroom. The sound of the air conditioner is a bit embarrassing. The lights in the room are a bit dim, but the space is large enough and you can vaguely see the luxury of the past. The front desk service attitude is very friendly. All in all, it's very cost-effective. Will continue to choose to stay.
GGuest UserWe have been staying at the Old Mill on and off for many years. It is not the same as it once was. To have to order coffee and breakfast thru room service daily is a crime. Especially for how much they charge. How is it any different to offer coffee and breakfast in the Home Smith? Still need a cook and staff, either to bring it to your room or serve. Would make the stay so much better to have a relaxing breakfast and a coffee in the beautiful lobby. I understand during covid things needed to be changed. But by now, can't use that as an excuse anymore. I can have dinner in the Home Smith, no problem
GGuest UserThe hotel was fantastic, great location and great facilities. The staff were also top class, extremely helpful and polite. Nathaly on reception ensured we were not only up to date of what the hotel could offer but provide a city map and pointed out lots of areas of interest for us to explore. Matthew in the concierge team was equally helpful and polite, leading use directly into the subway from the hotel to prevent us needing to carry heavy cases down the steep steps at the external entrance. Many thanks for helping make Toronto a great experience.
GGuest UserThere were too many negatives to give this hotel a rating over poor. We stayed on the 100-level, which meant there was only one window in one of the rooms and it was at street level so I felt like I was in a basement. The staff did greet us with a smile, which is nice. Staff was not appropriately knowledgeable about the area. For example, we asked how to travel via public transportation to Toronto and was directed to a subway station a couple of miles a way and suggested we take an uber or two busses. We learned on our own that there was a subway station 3/4 of a mile away which we walked to or required a much less expensive uber fare. The bed was fairly comfortable. The bathroom was small and is in great need of a deep cleaning and/or an appearance refresh. We found grime around the rim of the toilet - the kind that accumulates without regular cleaning beneath the rim. I was told at check-in that we would get daily housekeeping. However, on day 2 we did not and that was a huge disappointment. Additionally, the television in the ”living room” was inoperable because it had no sound. When I pay for a hotel, I expect to receive what is in the contract; a bed, operable amenities available and housekeeping promised. The most disappointing aspect was that I had to ask for an adjustment on the bill. Staff was aware of our issues and did not act proactively to offer us financial renumeration. We were given 25% off one night's stay which amounted to less than 10% off our total bill. I think we did not receive 90% of what we paid for and the financial abatement is seriously insufficient. I feel really cheated.
TTian TienThis is a l neighbourhood house setup as a inns with multiple rooms. Room is clean look like renovated the only down side is the house and neighbourhood is run down conditions u will not likely to put up there in first impression. It is convenient to reach the bus and street car or slight walk direct to transit train. The surrounding offers many eating restaurants and especially Chinese food as is Chinatown. If u willing to accept the basic room just for night sleep with the price is a choice.
GGuest UserWhen I booked this it clearly said POOL There was no pool needs to be taken off the website. Room was clean, not enough towels for 4 people. There were only 2. I did not see a problem with breakfast, it was pretty much hot breaky. Sat morning there were home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon ( which needed to be cooked more so I didn't eat it ) There is a machine to make your own waffles, bread for toast and I believe hot dogs ? Muffins ( They were blueberry that is why they looked the way they did, they were not moldy ) juice, coffee, tea. There was no fresh fruit which was disappointing. 1st night wedding was awakened at 2am by the wedding party good thing they went to their rooms and settled down. 2nd night another wedding was at their venue never heard a peep. When we did come back on the Sat around 7 our room keys didn't work. Person at the front desk was apologetic and gave us new ones. Also asked for decafe and he delivered 4 pkgs to our room since there was none at breaky.
TTopos(김주이)There were a few flaws to call it a hotel. It would be nice if there was a hair dryer, toothpaste, hair brush, and foam cleansing. Other than that, the bed was not uncomfortable.
GGuest UserI want to start by saying how happy I am that the host let us check in an hour earlier since it starts at 5pm instead of the regular 3pm. This is an Airbnb type of place that requires you to put a $450 deposit for a one night stay which I thought it was very high. The location is amazing, walking distance to the CN tower and restaurants.
It is a very cute place except for the cleanliness. The place was DIRTY. We decided to not use the shower because it was full of mold and hair (picture attached), there was hair everywhere! We saw there was a washer and dryer but the washer was full of towels that yet needed to be dry so we decided not to use. There were stains in the bed sheets so we decided to lay some of our own towels on top to sleep. We also decided to not touch the kitchen because the burner was broken and we did not want to cause a fire or something like that. Over all, it was decent for a one night stay but they need to fire the cleaner because I believe it is an easy fix to be a better place to stay.
