We had an amazing weekend at Torekov with an all-inclusive package that included a five-course dinner paired with the perfect wine selection. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond in providing exceptional service with their friendly and attentive approach.

A very nice spa- and hotel resort, good staff and facilities. The surroundings are perfect for a walk. Spa facilities are many and good. The kitchen knows what they are doing and the Wine menu was matching the food perfectly.

Amazing hotel! Lovely staff and a relaxing vibe throughout the hotel. Spa area is really good with a lot of different pools, areas etc. Also nice lounge areas where you can hang out. Lovely to rent bikes or walk by the water that is very close.

Upscale hotel complex close to the center of Torekov. Individual bungalows with a terrace area outside (too bad, ours overlooked the parking lot) The reception is not very friendly (with the exception of a few waiters in the restaurant), the staff does not know how to smile or apologize when necessary and you must pay for your stay in advance. This is supposedly usual in Sweden, in any case it has never been the case for us until now. Everything is paid for, from the spa (40€/day) to earplugs and eye masks, which seemed to be self-service in the rooms, including peanuts as an aperitif! (4€!) The chai latte (4€) is an industrial spice powder mixed with milk. Even tea, which is usually self-service in the hotel, costs money... unless you dine at the hotel. A whole organization, therefore. The restaurant is very pleasant, bright, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on double sofas and, during the day, in bad weather, you can work or contemplate the storm on comfortable armchairs, in front of an ethanol fireplace. On the other hand, all the hotel's directions are exclusively in Swedish - not a trace of English or any other language - and the hotel would gain credibility by internationalizing a little. The rooms are quite comfortable; the rather poorly designed bathroom shower; we are forced to flood part of the bathroom because the shower screen is too short. Daily cleaning is quite basic in the bathroom, no more Kleenex and no one notices... we have to complain to reception after 2 days, shower mat flooded (because the water cannot be contained in the shower) but left as is. The room access card system does not work very well; you have to try it several times. The ambient music in the lounge is quite successful.

Compared to other spa hotels in the lower part of Sweden then I would not choose Torekov Hotell again as the overall experience does not match other spa hotels in this region - but the price is same as the others but overall quality is lower at Torekov Hotell.

We left Torekov with mixed impressions. Overall, there is a service and price mis-match, and the place lack a consistent theme. When we first arrived and was going to the spa, I asked for a pair of bath slippers. The receptionist gave me a rude answer that due to them being “svanen märkt” they no longer provide slippers. I shared it said on the spa website and also in the room, that you can borrow slippers from the reception. Instead of offering a solution, she went to check the website and said there is a mistake on the website and that I buy a pair. Later, in the spa, I saw used Torekov branded slippers among the towels so apparently they still provide slippers to some guest and not others. I feel that is double standard. I wish they could offer a solution of renting slippers to those who wish to have one. The service in the restaurant was not good on the first evening. First, they could not find our booking. The waitress (and most staff) could not speak Swedish, and struggled to understand our name. Thereafter her colleague pointed out she looked at the wrong day hence could not find the booking… The food was ok. However, they were not able to offer any variation of the desserts for my friend who has nut allergy. She was offered a scoop of ice cream. The brownie was served cold and was rather hard / dry. The coffee was also cold when it arrived so had to ask for new cup of coffee. Also we were told we had been given an old drinks / wine menu so the wines (and prices!) had changed. The whole dinner experience was not great, as felt like the staff lacked training. The second night, the service was much better and the staff was more accommodating. On the plus side, the room in the hotel building are newly renovated and are very nice. The beds are comfortable. The morning yoga is also great. The spa is nice, nice outdoor Japanese baths. However, it is nothing unique or special. Overall, they don’t make the guest feel special. It feels like an ordinary 3 star hotel, and not an expensive hotel for more than 4000kr a night.

This is a good hotel with a pleasing modern design, clean rooms, nice pool area and decent restaurant. The service at reception was good but sometimes slow around the pool. We loved the fact that we could hire bikes to get into the centre of town, although it would be better if kids’ bikes were also provided. Loved the fact that we all got towelling robes to use.

Pleasant stay in an elite hotel. A tad bit far off from the central town but its still a walking distance . The rooms are very well kept, mind that you will likely keep the curtains shut all the time because otherwise the neighbours can easily see you.

Very Bureaucratic! - the hotel demands prepayment - but not as other hotels with normal creditcard bookings. they ask a lot of questions about food, guests age, dietry, sports beforehand but they do not use all the information. they will not help in booking the sports ( have to do this yourself) the restaurant is hopeless. cold food, poor service, the wine was good , but orders were forgotten and delayed.
