Upscale hotel complex close to the center of Torekov. Individual bungalows with a terrace area outside (too bad, ours overlooked the parking lot) The reception is not very friendly (with the exception of a few waiters in the restaurant), the staff does not know how to smile or apologize when necessary and you must pay for your stay in advance. This is supposedly usual in Sweden, in any case it has never been the case for us until now. Everything is paid for, from the spa (40€/day) to earplugs and eye masks, which seemed to be self-service in the rooms, including peanuts as an aperitif! (4€!) The chai latte (4€) is an industrial spice powder mixed with milk. Even tea, which is usually self-service in the hotel, costs money... unless you dine at the hotel. A whole organization, therefore. The restaurant is very pleasant, bright, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on double sofas and, during the day, in bad weather, you can work or contemplate the storm on comfortable armchairs, in front of an ethanol fireplace. On the other hand, all the hotel's directions are exclusively in Swedish - not a trace of English or any other language - and the hotel would gain credibility by internationalizing a little. The rooms are quite comfortable; the rather poorly designed bathroom shower; we are forced to flood part of the bathroom because the shower screen is too short. Daily cleaning is quite basic in the bathroom, no more Kleenex and no one notices... we have to complain to reception after 2 days, shower mat flooded (because the water cannot be contained in the shower) but left as is. The room access card system does not work very well; you have to try it several times. The ambient music in the lounge is quite successful.
