Blue Dreams Resort Bodrum-Ultra All Inclusive

Pros: The resort was really nice and the staff were really friendly! Additionally, there was a large selection of food and drinks to choose from, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The facilities were also amazing. There is access to a private beach, with many sun loungers and multiple separate deck areas too (if you don’t prefer somewhere sandy!). The entertainment team are sure to host many events nightly also, so there is plenty to do on sight such as: live music, darts competitions, bingo etc. Cons: In terms of the rooms overall cleanliness, it was clear to see that there were numerous water marks and stains on the cabinets, mirrors and in the bathroom. When housekeeping would arrive, it would seem as though they were only replacing bed linen and re-stocking towels (as opposed to vacuuming, mopping or wiping surfaces). On another note, one member of the entertainment staff (Hilal) was overly flirtatious and inappropriate (towards my partner) - both of which made my boyfriend and I extremely uncomfortable. So if you’re planning on travelling here as a couple, probably take note of this and be conscious of your surroundings.

Not at all 5*! Lifts and stairs to room - lifts only fit minimal amount of people in and if you’ve got a push chair / wheelchair - you’re going to be waiting a while with people pushing in. Prepare yourself for a hike … the stairs up to the rooms are crazy - you won’t need the gym you’ll be climbing 10 flights of stairs from the beach to your room each day! Terrible WiFi - only works BARELY in reception and in room. Toilets by pool - horrific! (women’s toilets minimal to no lighting - zero toilet roll). (Men’s toilets are actually just stained from faeces and the smell is horrendous) even when the cleaners have been in there they just seem to mop the floor and leave the rest. Rooms - basic (need updating - bathrooms in rooms are okay) The lock on the bedroom didn’t lock and took us multiple try’s to ask for it to be fixed. Air con looks mouldy and does minimal. Room location 334 - would NOT recommend. Outside noise - hear everything! Customer service - shocking (had a single bed for our daughter which was broken before we used it .. reported it (7x) … days later fixed finally. Daughter was sick on the bed one afternoon, asked for extra sheets at reception they said they’d send someone - also saw a cleaner asked them - that night we slept using towels as sheets and duvets. Buffet food - one meat away from a bad stomach! Al la carte menus - choice of 3/4 meals for dinner at the Italian. English speaking / understanding staff - 20% Flooring around hotel - especially round pool and on hills / slopes - toooo slippery and very dangerous. Tiles broken everywhere around hotel. Power tools left lying around - skill saw in particular - dangerous for young children. The smell of sewage around the resort. Food taken from rooms. Views - lovely Berzah the medic and Fatima the guest relation manager were brilliant whilst our daughter was hospitalised due to illness.

Awful place. Don’t bother. It has great views and the potential to be lovely but it’s not. -our sea view room with balcony or terrace for 4 was no sea view and table for two with broken chairs. - Housekeeping non-existent. - Food awful. Tepid, and undercooked. I love Turkish food and this was not it. - poor/non existent entertainment - broken slide in the water park and set times - poor overall hygiene and facilities - staff barely spoke English - not suitable for people with limited mobility
