Toowoon Bay Holiday Park

When I booked with reception they said they had no concrete slab only nice grassy blocks. Upon arriving on our block we had hardly any grassy and mainly dirt. The block had a mat down that had big holes in it and we were 12 metres from the skip bins that hadn't been emptied in over a week. The smell was like rotton seafood and wafted inside our van and onto the washing I put out. Upon calling reception I was told by Reece's we know it smells but the Cleanaway truck has broken down,it's not our fault. Firstly why would they put anyone on that block? And secondly cleanaway has a fleet of trucks! While waiting for my husband to use the men's, the cleaning gentleman came along to do the ladies block and had finished in seven minutes, no wonder they smell. The toilets near us were old. And run down. The park has mainly permanents and a lot of the cabins are run down and shabby. The pool looked green! There were signs up advertising a pancake man but no date ever as to when and they were also advertising Australia day. .in march All in all a bad experience but the beach below is beautiful and if you score a seaside block views are great. Disappointed at the two calls to the office,and the staffs response finally was we can move you ,with one day to go. Who wants to then pull their annexe down and move. Won't be back, blue lagoon park much better- .

Huge holiday park located at Toowoon Bay. All the amenities you would look for in a holiday park and more. The amenities were immaculately clean and accessed with security codes. The pool and playground areas were well appointed and safety requirements fully met.

This was a great place to stay, the bungalow was quite and close the beach access path. The location was also good, cafes and playground nearby for the kids.

We stayed in the beachcomber cabin which was lovely but very very over priced. There is no internet or phone reception , the cabin was for 6 people but only provided things for 4 people “like towels and plates. Ants everywhere. Not many activities and beach is very rough so can’t swim there. Some parts of the park look very run down like refugee camps. For $4500 ( 6 nights ) definitely not work it. We left the room at 10 on the dot but lost all access therefore had to reception to get us out. Won’t be staying there again .

Great position on the beach

Stayed one night in the Pelican Cabin. Awesome place, kids loved it. All staff are so lovely. We'll be back for sure.
