excellent service and host were lovely and helpful..Breakfast was great and bed was comfortable ..views were great..the homestead was lovely and very elegant ..the area around the estate was beautiful lovely for a walk..you might see some wildlife

On our two week road trip, the night we spent here was the best of all. After a long drive and battling through Melbourne, we arrived at the haven of peace and luxury that is Tallawarra Homestead. The place is just delightful and hosts Andrey and Janine made us feel so welcome. Many thanks Janine for taking me up to see the kangaroos, back in snowy UK, I will remember them for a long time. Many thanks to you both for a great stay.

Went to Tallawarra for a Wedding and stayed the night before and the night after. This was the first wedding that they had hosted and let me tell you that it was nothing short of perfection. They couldn’t do enough for us and the service was second to none , not to mention the relaxed atmosphere and view of the mountains and wildlife. Do yourself a favour, get out there for a relaxing time that really feels like home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Loved it .

We had the pleasure to stay at Tallawarra Homestead for a small family wedding. What an absolute delight from the very moment we arrived we were greeted so warmly by our hosts. Walking into this beautiful home, the vibe from the beginning was one of warmth and calm. The bedroom we stayed in was beautiful and probably the two best nights sleep we’ve had in a while. I was really drawn to the harmony room where I could do yoga and meditate in one of the most beautiful, calming spaces. The daily walk amidst the beauty and wilderness was one I throughly enjoyed. Nothing was ever to much and every task was done with a smile. We were able to sit and relax and have lovely conversations around the fire which added to the ambiance. Personally for me the breakfast each day of bircher muesli was one of the best ever. Although we were there for a wedding, and a beautiful wedding it was I do look forward to going back for a weekend one day and I just know it will be the same amazing experience. Thank you very very much.

A late review but hopefully better late than never. The Tallawarra Homestead is simply the best. Three months travelling solo in Australia with a wide variety of accommodation, I booked this last minute after a very bad experience in an Airbnb. Driving up the lane to Tallawarra to a wonderful welcome from Andrey and Janine, all felt right with the world. Tallawarra is simply stunning. Set in impressive scenery, a taste for this traveller, of the real Australia. Beautiful, luxurious, sumptuous accommodation to a very high spec. Every want and need is catered for. There are so many highlights, the views, the history, the wonderful Coolgardie room, kangaroos & kookaburras, Janine’s breakfasts and afternoon teas, Andrey’s sense of humour, Janine’s lovely chats, the superb surroundings, the peace and feeling of serenity….so many things. What makes the Tallawarra Homestead perfect though are the hosts, Andrey and Janine. Two of the loveliest people I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble. Tallawarra is the perfect spot to base yourself in to explore this picturesque part of Victoria . Andrey and Janine are on hand to give some excellent recommendations. I have travelled extensively as a solo traveller in Australia, and Tallawarra is the best accommodation I have stayed in, and Andrey and Janine are the perfect host. Firstly, id like to take this opportunity to thank Janine and Andrey for creating such an Amazing experience for my Husband and I. Firstly on our wedding night and then again to have a little time away from home and our crazy everyday life. Tallawarra Homestead is a little slice of heaven. Janine and Andrey were absolutely wonderful hosts, they greeted us upon arrival and were there to give us such a relaxing and pleasurable experience. Nothing was any trouble for either of them and they made sure that we never had to worry about a thing. From the hospitality, to the décor and its homely elegant atmosphere , to the beautiful and delicious home cooked Big Breakfast, the fresh juices and fresh coffee, to the complimentary chocolates, port, fruit and fresh flowers upon arrival. The Homestead was so much more than my husband and i could have imagined, we spent our nights by the warmth of the toasty wood fire, sipping away on our champagne, enjoying the peace and quiet. We also got to experience the Harmony Room....Absolutely Devine & Tranquil, the stresses seamed to disappear, surrounded by beautiful lighting, plants, low couches and the room smelt Amazing. A great place to unwind in private. The bed we stayed in was so comfortable! The linen was crisp and fresh, the bed was truly amazing and we didn't want to leave it. The shower was so hot and relaxing, along with the beautiful smelling soaps and body washes provided to us. The views of the Homestead are Devine, being greeted by beautiful Rosellas and the birds in the morning whilst sipping on coffee. Whilst on the decking, it blew our minds to see so many Kangaroos hopping past in the Neighboring paddocks. Andrey and Janine, if we could rate you 10 stars, we definitely would!! You were not only perfect hosts, but people we have become friends with. We will be forever grateful for all of the time and effort you both put into giving us such an unforgettable experience. Thankyou so much, we will definitely be visiting again.
