Staying within the ancient town was very convenient; it was less crowded and quieter in the mornings and evenings. The only drawback was the mosquitoes by the river, which led to a restless night, though the room did provide mosquito repellent spray.

The Clam Beach in Puyuan is a place I miss when summer comes. Opening the door of the room on the first floor is the river, with blue sky and green water. What I like most is sitting on the stone steps at the door. As soon as you put your feet into the water, the fish will come to give you a pedicure. Watching a boatload of tourists passing by my house, I feel like I am the owner of the town. Even if it is only for two days, it is enough to make me rush. The pace slows down at this moment, and the busy life seems to be isolated in another world. You can feel Puyuan's respect for the ancient architectural culture from the first look at the archway at the gate. It is a redesigned theme park with ancient town as basis. But everything is there especially if you re not sure what to expect, this is where you can start from. The scenery and experience is great. I had a photoshoot experience with Han costumes in Yun-Xiang Costume Shop, aka Pu Yuan Yi Jin. The photos are great! The team is great ! Love it! But would suggest to visit not during weekend because the whole park is busy, including the photoshoot shops re super busy. Make your appointment and planning.
