My parents and I came for a trip, aiming to truly soak in the ambiance of the ancient town, so we booked a guesthouse in Wuzhen, specifically a riverside room. Wanting to stay close to my parents, the 'blind' room allocation turned out to be a pleasant surprise: I got a riverside single room on the second floor of Guesthouse No. 18, and my parents were right next door on the first floor of Guesthouse No. 19. From my window, the river flowed clear, and traditional sculling boats gently swayed as they passed. I'd occasionally watch tourists across the river capturing moments. The Jiangnan charm was absolutely captivating! The guesthouse host was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. A special shout-out goes to Wuzhen's luggage transfer service; they transported our bags via the waterways, and our suitcases were handled with exceptional care. Staying in Wuzhen, we relished the tranquility after the evening visitors had left and the refreshing peace before 9 AM. We also got a close-up look at the local morning tea culture, visited Wuzhen's morning market, and then returned to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by the guesthouse right by the water – it was absolutely delightful! We also took a sculling boat ride both in the evening and in the morning. The price was very reasonable, and each ride lasted about 25 leisurely minutes – absolutely worth it! It had been ten years since my last visit, and the changes over this decade truly impressed and delighted me. I'm already looking forward to my third trip to Wuzhen!

Absolutely fantastic! We stayed in a waterfront room, which was a truly special experience. My mother was carsick upon arrival, and the hotel even provided mung bean sweet soup and snow fungus soup for her in the evening. I highly recommend staying within the scenic area; the night views are absolutely stunning. The hotel was impeccably clean, and Xiao Dang, the staff member who assisted us, was incredibly warm and helpful. She came out early to meet us, helped with our luggage, introduced us to the attractions, suggesting routes and a recommended order of visit, and consistently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Traveling with elderly parents and children, and with the hot weather, Xiao Dang thoughtfully advised me on the pros and cons of the hotel's breakfast versus trying local morning tea spots. In the end, we opted for the buffet breakfast at the hotel, and I also went to a morning tea spot to buy some specialty snacks to bring back and eat. Overall, it was a perfect experience and a perfect trip to Wuzhen. If I visit Wuzhen again, I would definitely choose to stay at Tong'an Inn.

My room was on the ground floor; the window directly faced a wall when the curtains were open, with only a small window looking out onto a shared patio. This room type wasn't entirely as depicted in the booking photos. Overall, it was decent. The positives include a convenient central location for easy access, L'Occitane toiletries (a nice touch, typical of a boutique hotel), and both the room and bathroom were quite spacious. The set-menu breakfast was also quite refined. As for drawbacks, the small window offered poor ventilation, the bed was immediately visible upon entering the room, and there were quite a few mosquitoes on the ground floor. Overall, it offers good value for money compared to similarly priced rooms within Wuzhen.

The hotel boasts a very tasteful and high-quality design. The staff are incredibly polite, and their service is professional, prompt, and truly welcoming. The interior spaces are spacious and remarkably quiet. The view of the lotus pond outside the window is particularly enchanting. Breakfast offers a diverse selection of dishes with fresh ingredients, and the dining environment is spotlessly clean. I had initially planned to visit the local morning market for breakfast, but the hotel's offerings were so excellent that I decided to enjoy my meal right here. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Returning to Wuzhen, I can't help but marvel at how unchanged it is from 13 years ago. The Hangzhou government has done an excellent job preserving it! This time, I booked Zhaoming Academy, drawn by its No. 1 ranking for scenic views, and it truly delivered. **Environment:** Zhaoming Academy is located in the West Scenic Zone, relatively close to the exit. Downstairs, there's Shusheng Lamb Noodles (the price, 38 yuan a bowl, is the same as 13 years ago!), with generous portions of flavorful meat. Thumbs up!👍🏻 It's a very short walk to the Muxin Art Museum, just 5-10 minutes. Since Wuzhen has very few tourists in the mornings, giving it an ancient, secluded feel, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another day. However, we were a bit disappointed that Zhaoming Academy was fully booked. **Service:** The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. Breakfast is available downstairs, though it was a bit basic. The wontons had thick skins and sparse meat filling. (We later found out that the breakfast at Zhensui Hotel was similar, so it seems to be a standard for Wuzhen.) **Hygiene:** Spotlessly clean! Our family of four stayed in two separate rooms, which allowed for privacy. Each room had a TV, so the kids could watch cartoons while the adults enjoyed documentaries – it was very comfortable! **Facilities:** Compared to Shuixiangyi Inn where we stayed the next day, Zhaoming Academy definitely surpassed it (at the same price point). Not only does it have a comfortable tea area downstairs, but also a scenic waterfront area. Its proximity to the entrance makes it convenient for getting anywhere.

A family-friendly rural resort – it was a spontaneous 2-day/1-night getaway near Shanghai, and surprisingly, the kids absolutely loved it! We truly got to experience the relaxed, slow-paced rural life. The day before our trip, our hotel butler, Xiao Gu, contacted us via WeChat to confirm our itinerary and the number of guests. He also introduced us to the various activities within the village and provided helpful tips for exploring. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 PM on Friday, and check-in took about 20 minutes. The hotel is located within Wucun (the village). Getting around to various activity spots within the village and traveling to Xizha (West Scenic Zone) relies mainly on the shuttle buses, and the service was very well-organized. We booked a 'Lexiang Standard Room'. Since we had two children (both over 1.2 meters tall), we paid an additional fee for their admission tickets and breakfast. The room itself was very spacious and came with a bathtub. The village offers a rich variety of daily activities, and you can schedule children's fun according to the timetable. We tried fishing and snail hunting, and also visited the indoor pool. A CCO (Children's Care Officer) accompanied the kids during snail hunting, which made it easy for me, as a solo parent with two children, to manage one fishing and the other exploring for snails. All the staff members were very responsible. There were also other supervised activities available, but as we only stayed for one day, we didn't get to experience many of them. The breakfast queue was also very orderly. We went at 9 AM during peak time and were seated within 10 minutes, which avoided the usual scramble for tables. The food selection was very extensive, including Hulatang (spicy pepper soup), salmon, beef noodles, lamb noodles, tofu pudding, and more. One dinner during our stay was at the 'Zhiqing Restaurant' within the village. Their specialty is serving freshly harvested fruits and vegetables within an hour. The vegetables were indeed incredibly fresh; even I, who usually doesn't eat many vegetables, ate a lot of Malabar spinach that night. They truly use excellent ingredients. A truly worthwhile family-friendly resort experience.

Service is impeccable, staff provided very personalised butler service. Location is awesome. Staff provided personalised pick up service, avoided crowds and fast pass check in. Hotel gifted us with two lovely tubs of tea. Buggy service to indoor pool in nearby hotel. Breakfast also in nearby hotel. Tv was too small when watching from bed. Do consider installing a bigger TV.

The most pleasant surprise during my stay at Wuzhen Jintang Mansion was meeting our butler, Xiao Shen! From the moment we arrived, his thoughtfulness was evident everywhere – he proactively confirmed our parking spot, handled our luggage efficiently and carefully, and even took the initiative to introduce us to the hotel's antique pieces, each with its own story. This instantly made us feel a deeper connection to this historic mansion. Throughout our stay, whether we needed recommendations for Wuzhen's sightseeing routes or wanted to find an authentic local restaurant, Xiao Shen always provided incredibly practical and helpful advice. Upon check-out, he thoughtfully reminded us to take all our personal belongings, even checking the weather forecast in advance and wishing us a safe journey. This kind of friendly and attentive service made our entire Wuzhen trip feel incredibly warm and comforting. While the ancient charm of Jintang Mansion is truly unforgettable, Xiao Shen's service added an extra layer of warmth to that memory. He absolutely deserves a huge thumbs-up!
