The building now known as Eight Blessings Inn was originally built in the year 1785 , more than 200 years ago, and was called Mao De Tang. It was a traditional two-storey home. Our goal in renovating this building was to respect the original architecture while also creating a feeling of simplicity, elegance, and warmth.

早前就聽朋友説過這家店，老闆娘是一位性格極好的香港大姐，憑藉對生活的熱愛開啟了這家客棧！人很Nice，環境不錯，是一座240年的大宅！

位於深奧古村落內，開車路過，友人提起主理人樑姐，是個很傳奇的真真正正做事情的人，當時正值假期，房間已滿，未能成行；心中起意一定要找時間來見識下，遂於昨日，完成心願。見到樑姐，一個眼中有光，瞬間會被感染到的人；一切是那麼的自然，沒有刻意的迎合。老屋的設計沒有過度的雕琢，卻處處體現出主人的智慧和用心，還其本源加上現代的排水和供電，渾然天成的鬆弛感，瞬間找到家的感覺。恍惚間像穿越到陶淵明筆下的世外桃源，見一個要見的人，做一件想做的事，人生其實很簡單。八福一個有故事的客棧，值得停留駐足……

無意中刷到樑姐的視頻，然後注意到了深澳古村。這裏沒有過度商業化，能看到這邊村民在生活，也有些做手工的店鋪，飲品店，很古樸的感覺。客棧也是一棟古建築，被用心維護着，樑姐可愛又很熱情，非常健談，和她聊天勝讀10年書。有機會一定還來。

古樸、典雅、別緻、舒適的客棧，八福是讓人慢下來的好地方。客棧坐落在深澳古村裡，古村很安靜，手藝人的特色小店也超讚，適合一個人走走，適合三兩好友聚聚。主理人樑姐很Nice，客棧的一切都剛剛好，完美的旅行，一定會再來。

終於去了心心念唸的八福😄 雖説是老宅子但很乾凈，看出了主理人的用心。早餐豐富，晚餐當地美食，味道很贊，也基本上是合大眾的口味。離開前我們在村子裏的一家小店吃了碗九尾仔，類似麪疙瘩，但這是用米做的，比麪疙瘩好吃😋
