Hangzhou Eight Blessings Inn

This is a treasure inn that I have been thinking about for a long time. After I settled in, it really lived up to my expectations (I immediately decided to stay longer 😂). The renovation of the 200-year-old house, whether it is the design style, decoration materials or the business philosophy of the owner, Sister Liang, is my favorite. Sister Liang's love for the old house is reflected everywhere in the inn. The layout, decoration, furnishings, books, bedding, furniture, and colors are all very thoughtful. Breakfast and dinner (dinner must be booked in advance), most of the ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and authentic, Sister Liang and Auntie's cooking skills are down-to-earth, which makes my sister and I have endless aftertaste! The table is exquisitely laid out, and it is comfortable to look at even if you don't eat. The owner, Sister Liang, is humorous and has the demeanor of a hero. Chatting with her is full of positive energy!

On the last weekend before school started, I took my kids to Shen'ao Ancient Town for a self-driving tour. I booked the B&B Bafu Inn recommended by a friend. The inn was renovated from a 240-year-old house. It is very beautiful and comfortable, and the sanitary conditions are also very clean. Before I went there, the inn owner, Sister Liang, added WeChat to give weather tips and various tips before check-in, which was very considerate. It rained heavily in the evening when I arrived. The warmth brought by the floor heating of the inn hit me. Sister Liang and the staff took the initiative to deliver the luggage to our room and served hot drinks. The room was very clean. I changed into disinfected slippers before entering the house. The house was warm and beautiful, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had floor heating. The breakfast on the second day was also a snack made by the aunt of the inn. Sister Liang waited for us to finish eating and introduced us in detail to various attractions around us. The ancient town is backed by mountains and water, and the protected ancient houses are beautiful and worth visiting. The surrounding villages such as Shishe Village also have good scenery. The children had a lot of fun. There are many books in the inn. Through the casual chat during breakfast, I can see that Sister Liang is a wise and generous woman. Chatting with her, I got a lot of ideas about life and education. Next time I have time, I will take my baby there again in early summer. Looking forward to seeing you next time

First of all, let me talk about the location. It is at the edge of the village and quite quiet. Then let me talk about a few places that I think have problems. Picture 1: There is no curtain for the shower. The water splashes outside too easily, making the floor slippery and very unreasonable. Picture 2: There is no place in the room where you can sit comfortably. It is a bit uncomfortable. Picture 3: The place to hang clothes is really useless. There is no place to put other clothes after hanging two coats. Picture 4: You need to change your shoes before going up to the second floor and entering the room. But it is really unhygienic for you and me to wear this pair of shoes. Finally, let me talk about dinner. It tastes very good, but the quantity is really small. The four of us spent 480, a small plate of beef, preserved egg tofu, bone soup, braised pork and four fermented rice docks, a plate of vegetables, a plate of sausages and snow peas, and that's it. There are about five or six bones, about a dozen thin slices of beef, and a small plate of braised pork. It is delicious but the quantity is too small.

Sister Liang is very wise in life. It turns out that she has run many B&Bs in Shanghai, including one on Yongjia Road. I didn’t expect that we were neighbors. We talked about Bafu Living Room, Midnight Diner, Gap Year, etc. There were endless topics. I look forward to meeting again next time [呲牙][呲牙]
