Rustige kamer, zelfs aan straatzijde. Ruim bovendien. Prettig verblijf gehad. Mooie eetzaal, historische elementen bewaard. Ontbijt wordt heel goed aangevuld. Organisatie hiervan behoeft verbetering. Zeker als je niet in een groep reist (daarvoor worden namelijk apart tafels gereserveerd). Het is onduidelijk waar je dan wel kunt plaats nemen. Het lijkt wel dat er aparte behandeling plaatsvindt van groepsreizen versus andere organisaties waar de kamer geboekt is. Bv het wel neerzetten van een apart peper-/zoutstel. Dat roept links en rechts irritatie op. Het waarom begrijp ik ook niet. Als het druk is, hebben de 3 dames die rondlopen weinig tot geen tijd voor neerzetten nieuw bestek en kommen of borden. En natuurlijk zijn beide koffieautomaten dan ineens leeg….. . Ook verwonderen wij ons erover dat je zo de ontbijtzaal mag binnenlopen. Zonder te vragen naar kamernummer. Verder ligt het hotel nabij vvv, en gunstig tov de binnenstad. Ook parkeergarage nabij. Al met al toch heel positief beeld en beleving.

Helaas verliep ons verblijf in mineur ; de douchecabine - bestaande uit een prachtige regendouche - was volledig beschimmeld. Bij het openen van de douchecabine komt de schimmelgeur je tegemoet, en het plafond zit volledig onder de schimmelplekken. Er is duidelijk sprake van een ernstig vochtprobleem. Verder is er constant, dus ook 's nachts, een constant gezoem te horen via een afvoerbuis of dergelijke welke door de kamer loopt. Geen idee of dit natuurlijk in alle kamers het geval is, maar het heeft ons alleszins de hele nacht uit onze slaap gehouden. Het ontbijtpersoneel was helaas ook niet erg hartelijk, begroette niemand van de gasten met een vriendelijke 'goeiemorgen'. Het is een prachtige ontbijtruimte, maar het was er erg donker ; de gordijnen aan de grote mooie raampartijen waren dicht, omdat er via die ramen teveel koude lucht naar binnenkwam en het dit weekend ook wel erg koud buiten was. De inkomhal en de eetruimte zijn mooie ruimtes, de rest van het hotel is - ons inziens - eens toe aan een grondige opfrisbeurt.

Onaangename kamer, door hoog plafond en koele inrichting. Avondeten ondermaats! Enige pluspunt is ligging van het hotel. Personeel allesbehalve enthousiast en onderbezet. Superspijtig voor klant én personeel. Volzet hotel geeft te grote drukte.
