Days Hotel by Wyndham Toms River Jersey Shore

The hotel excels in cleanliness and comfort, with spacious rooms and convenient location near dining and beach options. Guests appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Several issues of concern: The most serious is that both emergency stair cases closest to our room were closed for painting for the entire four days we were there. The elevator signage indicates that in case of fire, stairwells must be used, but the two accesses closest to us were off-limits! We were on the fourth floor, so this emergency access WOULD be needed in case of fire. Secondly, when we arrived, one elevator was out of order. This has been typical in the last few years. However, after the first day, both elevators WERE in service, so that was a pleasant surprise. But in case of fire...no stair access. This is a serious fire code violation. Finally, when I checked in at the front desk, the cost was $10 over what I'd been quoted - TWICE - over the phone. Interestingly, the confirmation sent by the hotel didn't include a total cost, just the cost per night. Fees, etc., weren't shown. This may be a convenient way for Wyndham to change rates as they wish. On the positive side, location is very good for beach. The hotel staffers who clean the rooms are fabulous...our room WAS an oasis: clean and bright. The outdoor patio is lovely. An annoyance is the shower curtains don't remain closed while showering - we did a lot of mopping up after showers. It seems the Wyndham corporation is not giving this hotel the attention it deserves, in terms of maintenance or renovations.

The Days Hotel Wyndham was exactly what I expected for an economical stay in Toms River, NJ. Being a Wyndham Rewards member, & the fact that this is a Wyndham property is why I decided chose this property. The room was very clean with comfortable beds, and a fridge. Unfortunately it was not equipped with a microwave, however I was very satisfied with my stay. In addition the front desk staff was both kind, & professional.... Matt & Ginger! In addition the indoor (heated) pool, gym, onsite restaurant, free parking, & location (close to the beach, and plenty of shopping / eating options) makes for a very comfortable stay!
