Very well maintained hotel with good quality and large rooms. The hotel staff is extremely help and ready to please. The food at the Tavern Banfi was extremely good, albeit a bit expensive. We had reached late and were close to the 9 pm closing time for dinner. Yet the staff did not even once try to make us feel that we were late or let their service lag. The food at dinner was amongst the best we had in our entire US trip. Next morning, the breakfast was also very good, especially the quinoa dish along with the omelette and the avocado toast. Will recommend the place whole-heartedly to anyone visiting Cornell

The room and amenities are first class. Breakfast at $16 plus tip was abysmal. Eggs were dry. No fruit. No juice. Potato hashbrowns were soggy. When asked about fresh fruit or juice was told there was a supply issue. Went to 7-11 a few blocks away and they had a whole shelf of fresh cut fruit. A hotel of this caliber should have a full breakfast!!

Beautiful Inn…lovely views and lovely setting! Our lake view room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with towels, toiletries, and coffee! I hate when I have to ask at the desk for more coffee, which is usually the case at other hotels! The little details were appreciated, such as hooks to hang a robe by the tub and shower. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. The beautiful waterfall is a lovely, easy walk from the inn.

We visit Ithaca in late December almost every year, and have been staying at the Ithaca Marriott for several years in a row. It's a lovely place and, as ever, we weren't disappointed:we had a perfect New Year's holiday stay. Front desk personnel were really kind and accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and we had a partial view of the Commons, something you don't always get as a budget traveler. We were treated very well throughout our stay, and we didn't want for anything. I even used the gym - trying to start the New Year right! And a very nice surprise: the Marriott provided a lovely breakfast for all guests on New Year's Day, complete with really good coffee. Very thoughtful! Thank you!
