Das Hotel hat ein gutes Konzept und auch schöne Zimmer. Weil es nahe an der Autobahn liegt, sollte ein Zimmer nahe am Wasser buchen. Das Zimmer waren sauber und das Bett bequem. Das Essen war gut und auch das Personal freundlich. Da das Wetter eher stürmisch und kalt war haben wir uns auf den Spa und Erholung gefreut. Der Spa wäre eigentlich schön jedoch hat die Sauberkeit und Ordnung wirklich zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Es lagen überall gebrauchte Becher, leere und halb volle Plastik Gläser rum. Die Garderobe war auch nicht sauber. Natürlich war es gerade stürmisch vom Wetter her. Doch gerade vor allem dann sollte jemand 120 % vor Ort sein und sich um Ordnung und Sauberkeit kümmern. Die Sessel waren auch sehr abgerockt. Ruheliegen gibt es keine im Innenbereich. Im Aussenbereich lagen sie durch den Sturm querbeet rum und waren durch die Vögel dreckig. Die Badetücher sind nur an der Rezeption im anderen Gebäude erhältlich (man könnte auch welche im Spa aushändigen). Da auch Kinder unter 15 Jahre in die Whirlpools dürfen, müsste man das entsprechend organisieren (auch in punkto Sauberkeit in den Whirlpools) und damit Ruhesuchende auch Raum zur Erholung finden. Erholung gleich null. Als wir zurück auf das Zimmer zum duschen wollten musste es ausgerechnet (am späten Nachmittag) als letztes geputzt werden. Das war wohl gerade zusätzliches Pech.

Het was een heerlijk hotel op unieke plek. De kamer viel tegen, ik had kamer met terras en uitzicht op meer gevraagd. En er was alleen uitzicht vanaf het terras in een hoek. Dat vond ik erg jammer en heb een andere kamer gevraagd. Gelukkig was er een andere kamer die heerlijk was! Met view op het meer. Leuk buiten zitten aan het water. Geweldig terrein met industriële gebouwen maar ook een riviertje met fruitbomen. Prachtig! Heerlijk ontbijt ook! En de koffie van panhuset was ook lekker! Jammer dat het ontbijt dat niet serveert. Ja de snelweg is een nadeel, maar dat hoor je niet aan het meer. We hadden geen eigen vervoer, want ik dacht gelezen te hebben dat alles met ov kon vanwege de Gotaleden. Was 5,5 km fietsen over heftige heuvels langs de snelweg, dat was geen succes. Volgende keer komen we met een auto. We komen graag nog eens terug.

Staying at the hotel overall was good. There are great looking shops in it. The hotel and the rooms were clean. “Badhus” was good experience as well, especially we took the spa reservation for 7:15pm, which at that time it was golden hour while we were at the jacuzzi and looking towards the lake. Calm and relaxing experience. Both aroma therapy and normal saunas are towards the lake. Included breakfast buffet was also nice. BUT, the dinner was not OK for us since me and my wife ordered steak and what we got were precooked and cold dish even if we had prebooked a specific time for that dinner. We had also mentioned this to the waitress but didn’t get any response from her.
