Upon our initial check-in, the staff were extremely accomodating and could speak proper English in conversation. The ambiance of the hotel was amazing, it was extremely convenient that breakfast lounge was next to concierge. The room itself was extremely clean and housekeeping staff was very attentive to our needs. It was incredibly close to the station and it was very nice after a long day. We will definitely use this hotel again when we visit Tokyo.

Address: Walk about 10 minutes from the south exit of Minami-Senju subway station across the overpass. It is very convenient to go to Ueno and Akihabara. You can also walk two minutes more to JR Minami-Senju Station to transfer to Nippori for the Yamanote Line and Keisei Electric Railway.
Surroundings: It is a relatively quiet residential area. There is a supermarket downstairs and two convenience stores on the way to the subway station. There are few restaurants. You have to walk to JR Minami-Senju Station to eat in a small mall.
Facilities: The air conditioning in the main building is not good. The same floor shares a toilet for washing. Only two independent bathrooms on the first floor can be used 24 hours a day. You need to use the room key to open it, and there is almost no queue. After 11 o'clock in the evening, you can also enter from the side door and open the door with the key.
Check-in: After checking in, the staff will give you a simple English introduction to the facilities. When checking out, put the key in the white box next to the mailbox on the first floor.
In short, the experience is good. In Tokyo, the price of more than 100 yuan has an independent sleeping space, which is not demanding and suitable for solo travelers.

I stayed in three capsule hotels in Tokyo during this trip. This one was the cleanest. Whether it was the bed sheets or the smell in the room (the only capsule hotel without foot odor), they were very satisfactory. The most unexpected thing was that male guests could also enjoy a bath, which was very refreshing. Toiletries and towels were provided, and the bathroom experience was also the best, not only because of the existence of the bath, but also in every detail. For example, there was a small basket for the clothes that were changed to be placed outside the bathroom, so they were not afraid of getting wet, which was not available in every capsule hotel. There was a supermarket outside the door, which was convenient for shopping, as well as Matsuya, other barbecue restaurants and various restaurants. Although the location was not prosperous, it was not lacking in basic convenience and security.
The two main points of dissatisfaction: 1. It was too close to the rail transit (although the transportation was convenient), and the noise was still very loud. People with poor sleep should choose carefully. 2. The size of the storage locker was unreasonable. The total space was not small, but it was thin and tall, so it was okay to hang clothes, but it was inconvenient to put luggage. I had to take out my small backpack to put it in the locker.
Finally, capsule rooms can only be booked on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and not on other days. I don't know why. I don't know if this has contributed to the good hygiene level of the capsule rooms (get rid of the smell? Clean the beds?)

Things are cheap in the Kameido community where I live, and there are many convenient restaurants. The hotel uses the cheapest decoration equipment, and the front desk service is good. It is suitable for one person and is suitable for those looking for an economical and cheap hotel!

Room was quite small but expected for a hotel in the city. Some of the reception staff were helpful but some were a little rude. Cleanliness was not really up to expections but given the high volume of people in the hotel, it seems like they cannot keep up with the cleaning. Was quite disappointed as our stays in another onyado nono hotel was an amazing experience hence we wanted to come back to the same chain again.

If you would like to have a very beautiful view of the Tokyo SKYTREE Tower, book the family room that offers you this view!!
It’s amazing to be able to see the tower day and night.
Asakusa View Hotel gives that grandeur of a 5-star hotel at a reasonable pricing (not cheap for a family definitely).
It’s a nice place to stay to experience the nostalgic Asakusa and old Japan iconic temples, Ameyayoko Shopping District and at the same time just so close by to the new and trendy Skytree Town for a day of shopping too!
The bakery on the ground floor is amazing for my family of bread fanatics!! Everyday I spend like > ¥20,000 on shio buns and anpans!
Will definitely return again!!

The largest room for our family of 5 was functional but cramped. Can’t expect much for a Tokyo hotel. Hotel was very generous with amenities from face mask, face serum, lotion and potion to comb, hair tie tea and coffee. Everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and shopping too.
One major negative was the Chinese cleaner. She barged into our room with her key card saying that she had to go off work and must clean our room! She proceeded to clean our toilet while we were inside the room trying to get ready. Very unhappy with this customer service.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
JJoyceLocation is great -5 mins walk from station. Rooms are decent size for Jap standard and hotel is modern and classy, doesn’t feel dated. No need to join the breakfast at hotel as lots of options nearby. 7/11 attached and Starbucks and cafes and shops within 2 mins walking distance. Sawamura ( turn right at Starbucks) has yummy bread and pastries and there is a line queuing up for lunch every day before 11.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel and special mention to Justyna
Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits.
Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping.
Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser.
Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!
GGuest UserKeio hotel is located in Shinjuku. Their rooms are reasonably size and the staff are nice and helpful. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and Lawson convenience store is located opposite the hotel. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk from the hotel to Shinjuku's JR Station.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
SSALLESWe had a nice stay at Washington Hotel Akihabara. The hotel is well located, nearby metro lines and local trains which allow us to easily move around Tokyo. Although the room is small, it is well designed and it big enough for few nights. The bed is not very large but comfortable. We managed to sleep with our 2 yo kid. You can also choose between soft or hard pillow. The bathroom was quite big with a nice bathtub. Around the hotel, you have plenty of restaurant and convenient stores. The buffet breakfast was great and everything we try tastes really good ! There is a large choice between Japanese food and wester food. Finally, there is a laundry area which was really convenient.
AAnonymous UserVery clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
