Tokyo Taito Ward 3-star Hotels

Great location, hotel looks fresh from a refurb rooms clean and modern. Most importantly my room had a window with a view of Tokyo Sky tree. I love the Asakusa neighbourhood, plenty of little bars and restaurants even found an amazing whiskey bar.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I was immediately impressed by the elegant and clean lobby. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens felt luxurious. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was modern and included all the amenities I needed, including high-quality toiletries. What really made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight — a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, including both Western and local dishes. The hotel’s location was perfect — close to major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Overall, I had a truly wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, service, and quality. Five stars!

Is located on a quiet street of Ueno area and walking distance to Ueno Train station. The capsule cabin bed is slightly broader than a few capsule hotel I had stayed. Is quite convenient with restaurants and 7-11 store nearby. The price is affordable and I had a good stay.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, no-fuss place to stay in Tokyo, Hotel MyStays Ueno Iriyaguchi is a solid pick! Check-in and check-out were super smooth, and shoutout to one of the Indonesian staff members who was especially warm and helpful – really made us feel welcome. Toiletries are free-flow at the counter, so just help yourself. There’s also a washing machine and dryer on-site, which was super handy – meant we could pack lighter and plan better. What I loved most was the little in-room kitchenette – complete with an electric stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, pans, dish soap, and even a chopping board and knife! Just request what you need at the counter, and they’ll sort you out. The room is on the smaller side if you’re comparing to hotels outside Japan, but totally normal by Japanese standards, and honestly, it was cozy and well-equipped. Location-wise, it’s near plenty of convenience stores and even a 24-hour supermarket. Plus, the area is peaceful at night, not busy or noisy – perfect for a good rest after a day out. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a quiet, comfortable base in Tokyo. 👍

Staff was really friendly and cleanliness of the hotel was superb! Location was really good with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was also really near to the metro station. However, there is no elevator in the hotel but the hotel only has three storeys so was still overall manageable to move the luggage up and down for check in and check out.

Location as to its nearness to convenience stores and  subway stations is great! Rooms are clean and spacious, bigger than the usual japanese rooms. I love the couch and table at the foot of the bed for its extra space and comfortable eating area. Shampoo and soap in the bathroom smell great! Love it! The rooms are cleaned daily without needing to inform the staff. The only downside for me is the lack of a ramp to roll your luggages up and down the building. Overall, it was a great find!

Close to a subway station and opposite a supermarket with surrounding konbinis. Good facilities/amenities e.g. microwave, extra sink, table and chairs. Only downside is small and a bit outdated but for the location, price and amenities I would recommend!

Great value for money . They have enough supply for shampoo,conditioner,hand wash unlike in other hotels. Coffee is also unlimited for in house guests. Space is a lil small but it’s still fine. Location is great for skyliner and other metro lines too. Very close to Ueno park. Staffs are nice too. Thank you team . Will definitely stay again if i visit tokyo next time.

The hotel is excellent, comfortable, and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The room is spacious, and the twin beds are large and comfortable. It’s a fair distance from Ueno Station about 900m but still within walking distance. Overall, I was very impressed.

It is small but has everything. It is very convenient to take the Asakusa Line. The A3 exit is downstairs. For the Oedo Line, you need to enter from A6 (walk a little further from A4, but turn left on the road). The exit with the elevator is A0 (between A3 and A4). Btw, the hotel seems to provide free coffee and bread in the morning. I don't know what they are like. I didn't try them.
