I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We stayed in the Superior Double Room. The location is perfect in Akihabara. You're within a very reasonable walking distance of the nearest station and just a block from the main strip. On top of that, the quality of this place is really nice. They have an Italian restaurant downstairs and we ate there multiple times. We did end up adding the breakfast one day and it was alright. Our room was very clean and had plenty of space. I know hotels in Japan get a bad rep for how small they are, but this one wasn't too bad. The bed was very comfortable (and quite large) and the bathroom was really nice. We loved the room's lighting features- a mood light behind the bed made it nice for reading or taking a nap. You can also close off the hallway and bathroom from the bedroom, which helped make the room quieter. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Just in general, the vibes of this hotel are very luxurious and high quality. When we travel back to Japan we will for sure stay here again! And because of this experience, I will be checking out their other locations around Japan. I only took videos of our room - so the pictures of the room are screenshots so that's why the quality isn't as great.

Convenient location, great onsen spa, wonderful services, very good breakfast, super tidy and clean. Room was however reeeally small (we booked a semi-double room).
Neverthelesss... we booked this hotel because we absolutely loved the hotel of the same brand that we had stayed in in Kyoto last year. And the room size of this one was quite disappointing. If you love onsen then yes definetely go for it. Otherwise I bet there are better options out there.

The location of the hotel was amazing, there are a few shopping malls, and the train station is easy to access..
Rooms are small, and cleaning services are kept it very minimum.. they will just change to clean towel.
Self-service check-in and check-out, although hotel crews are around..

Great photo! The photo you took is so natural and coordinated! These beautiful photos really moved me. They have clear pixels, vivid expressions, moderate angles, body positioning and eye expressions. From the shooting point of view, the mobile phone is of high quality, the shooting techniques are precise, and the angles are clearly visible. The background is plain yet elegant, and the scenery is unique. It can be called a classic masterpiece for modern photographers! This photo shows an extraordinary focus despite being ordinary. It is so beautiful that it has reached the height of our admiration and fanatical pursuit of stars. From an artistic point of view, the beautification of this photo still needs to be improved, but its significance is far-reaching. Much larger than the photo itself! He truly deserves to be called a professional photography master! Your height is beyond our reach. After reading this picture of yours, my heart cannot be calm for a long time! How could there be such a beautiful picture in this world? I couldn't believe my eyes. Ever since the beautiful photos came out, I thought no more photos would impress me. But I didn’t expect to see this beautiful photo today. You gave me a deep understanding of the meaning of the saying ”A smile can make a city fall into disgrace”. After seeing the photos, I didn't dare to reply easily. I was worried that my vulgar language would tarnish the rare beauty in this world. But I still replied, because I felt that if I couldn't leave my own foreshadowing behind such a wonderful photo, it would be a regret in my life. Please forgive my selfishness! No matter how gorgeous the words are, it is impossible to describe the beauty of this photo. It is so beautiful, so beautiful!

Room cleaning is only done after 3 nights of staying. U can request for fresh towels to be given but they will not clean the room or clear rubbish until day 4. In a country where bins are hard to find, the accumulation of rubbish in the hotel room was really difficult for us tourists.
Also, room isn't really clean when we check-in. There were hair on table tops, massage chair and bathroom. Dust were also obvious on surface tops. A third of the shower curtain has obvious mold. The room also gets very bright upon sunrise as the light is emitted from the bathroom which is only covered by translucent moldy shower curtain.
The rest of the items are good. Service is great, amenities like toothbrush, comb, tea bags, coffee etc can be taken at lvl 6 where u check-in. Entrance to the hotel elevator on ground lvl is besides Starbucks, which is near Exit 1A of Tsukuba Line. It's also close to Lawson, many eateries and even a 24 Hrs Ramen shop.
This would have been the perfect hotel if not because of the cleanliness, which is a huge turn-off in such a clean and respectable country.

I arrived early morning hence was only able to leave my luggage at the reception. Check in was at 2pm and the hotel was nice to accept my request prior to booking for a room on the ladies floor for security reasons and I am also a solo traveller. Amenities like toothbrush, comb and tea packets are provided at the reception too. My only wish is that I hope in future the Hotel can provide at least an international or English movie channel for foreign guests.

Hotel was located close to Akihabara and Ochanomizu Station which made transportation easily accessible. It was also a walking distance from various food places at Akihabara and had a Family Mart below.
Room itself was a little small but expected of Tokyo hotels. Had sufficient amenities and was a clean place.
Overall, a decent stay for its price.

The location of the hotel is super good. A lot of station around there, 1 mins to JR Okachimachi station, 5 mins to Ueno station. Ameyoko is very near hotel also.
After check-in on 2nd floor, you may choose type of pillows and amenity. You may enjoy free coffee and chocolate during your stay which hotel provides.
Room is quite small with locked air-con. It only provides heat but no cool. Guests cannot adjust the temperature. We can accepts in winter but not sure whether it provides cool in the summer.

It was quite tricky to find a clean, modern yet reasonable priced for a quick trip in Ueno. The hotel was fairly new and modern. Bedding, shower products and breakfast were great specially the freshly prepared curry rice and cold brew. The staffing (front desk & cleaning)team is professional, courteous and serious but I won’t go as far as friendly, a little smile here and there would make the welcoming experience even better, especially after a scramble of Tokyo traffic experience for most of us visiting, but that’s just me too used to the “small talk” in western culture.

Nice clean rooms with almost all facilities and modern amenities.
Located in pub and restaurants area but nothing to worry when in Japan..it’s always safe.

GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
TTexas Longhorns92We returned for our next stay because if its convenient location. Even with four luggages, we manage to walk to the Shinjuku station at ease for thr Narita Express train to the airport.
WWinnie PPThe hotel is very close to Shinjuku Station, which made getting around Tokyo a breeze.
Convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart are right next door, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials.
The room had everything needed— phone cable, shampoo, and toothbrush etc —making it super convenient.
the staff were incredibly helpful in resolving a minor issue we had, which made my experience even better.
I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip!
GGuest UserI would definitely return to this hotel again. The staff was very attentive and the location is fantastic. The room we had stayed in was newly renovated and the interior design was very user friendly. The breakfast at the premier lounge was amazing.
GGuest UserLocation is very good next to Nakamise street and not far from Sensoji temple and Dongky , clean and neat new hotel & room, toilet is superior other hotel recent to stay here when I visit Tokyo next time
AAnonymous UserVery clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
JjagaaWe were so excited at the hotel, services are good and I liked baggage saving area and bus services which is hotel to Disneyland and airport, hotel breakfast is delicious and many choice.
