Staffs of sake hotel r so friendly , from check in to check out , they r helpful to solve my room problem , as some miscommunication between the agent n hotel , the room arranged is not the type I booked , they changed my room immediately , of course with charge ( reasonable charge ) they provided the warm hospitality during our stay , the room r modern , gd design n so comfortable, their food so delicious , no matter breakfast n dinner , I’m happy stay in this hotel , surely will come again . 😊

近隣在住ですが、数年前から時々利用しています。料理、酒、温泉、お部屋 全てで満足しています。オーナーやスタッフの対応も素晴らしくて、いつも癒されています。最近は私が日本酒、妻がワインのペアリングをお願いして、２人で両方を分け合っています。（マナー違反かもしれませんが？）酒量が少なめのペアリングや、ワインと日本酒のミックスペアリング等もあれば楽しいと思います。

Among the amazing qualities about Tamakiya are its staff, the food, the rooms and most definitely, the wonderful onsen water that blesses the Matsunoyama area. First, the staff — courteous, competent, warm & friendly, thoughtful… I could go on! It’s always a joy to watch people good at their work, do that work. The food is amazing. Pairing courses on offer by the Michelin-level hospitality offer you the chance to experience their expert level knowledge of (for example) Japanese sake paired with multiple course French cuisine dinner .. I love it every time I go! The rooms are all different, with different points to appreciate, that cover a range of pricing. All rooms are comfortable, modern interior designed and have a private outdoor bath space... I’d stay a full week if I could!! The actual onsen water of the region is famous in Japan as one of the country’s most well-known ‘medicinal’ onsen spas, and for over 800 years has served as a healthful and natural remedy for countless visitors. Tamakiya combines the restorative qualities of the water with their specialized hospitality and service to provide its guests with a wonderfully satisfying getaway experience! 110% recommended!

4回目の来訪。 お湯、お料理、お部屋、ホスピタリティとすべてがホンモノです。 ここでしか頂けないローカルガストロノミーと日本酒とのマリアージュは毎回の驚きですが、お風呂上がりにゆっくり楽しみ、就寝前をまたお風呂。 山の恵みたっぷりで美しい朝ごはんは、普通のトマトも普通じゃない！丁寧に吟味されているお心遣いを感じます。 今回は雨でお部屋篭りでしたが、山の緑にしっとり雨を眺めながらお部屋のトロトロの薬湯源泉に出たり入ったり。肌荒れもすっかりきれいに治りました。 クワイエットラグジュアリーのお部屋で、映画を見たり本を読んだり、至福の休日でした。 早く次回が待ち遠しい！

I found this inn as a place where I could enjoy delicious food and Niigata sake, and booked it, but it far exceeded my expectations. I visit here every year to enjoy the marriage of French cuisine and wine. The food, made with local seasonal ingredients, is gentle and light, and I can finish every course without feeling heavy on my stomach. I was soothed by everything, from the hot springs to the cozy room, high-quality bed, exciting dinner and wine pairing, and comforting breakfast! The welcome sweets and complimentary water in the fridge were both delicious. I also realized how delicious the local ingredients are, something I hadn't noticed even though I live in the area. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et l’équipe est exceptionnelle de gentillesse. L’accueil était vraiment remarquable. Les chambres ne sont peut-être pas parfaites mais elles sont attachantes et suffisantes. Le Onsen privé de la chambre au bord de la rivière est vraiment vraiment agréable. Un kif ! Nous avons opté pour le dîner pour des Shabu Shabu. C’était exceptionnel. Ils ont également une cave remarquable. Il n’y avait pas de petit déjeuner western, mais ils ont fait l’effort de nous proposer quelque chose d’approchant. C’est vraiment une des meilleures étapes de notre séjour de trois semaines au Japon et la région de Niigata est sublime de beauté ! Nous étions avec nos deux adolescents et nous n’avons tous adoré. Je recommande vraiment ! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe.

ここは何よりも温泉が素晴らしい。 匂いもなく体もあったまるし最高の温泉でした。また、このお宿は食事とお酒に拘りを持たれているようで、その名の通り食事は最高でした。夕食は一品一品に合う日本酒をペアリングしてもらい、日本酒好きの人には天国のような宿です。尚、日本酒ペアリングはそれなりの量になります。お酒が飲める人は一度お試ししていただきたいですね。 朝食も素晴らしく、新潟なのでご飯も美味しい。 部屋はきれいで清潔感はありますが、宿代と比較すると少々手狭なのは否めません。 アメニティも最小限に抑えられており、他の高級宿と比較すると拍子抜けしてしまいました。 ただ、温泉の質と食事は抜きん出ているのでまた訪問したいと思います。
