Food was great! Room is god too. Poor mobile phone signal. Many trucks due to building extension work. Will be perfect after the wirk is completed! Great spa and swimming pool.

I had a great experience at Waldhaus with my family. The moment we came I felt like a princess. The food and wine was good. Also, the gym and spa where perfectly arranged facilities and all so cleans. Besides, the staff was extremely kind and interested in you.

Das Hotel selbst bietet gutes Essen, und der Service sowie die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Zimmer waren stets sauber. Leider wird der Aufenthalt massiv durch eine ganztägige Baustelle auf dem Hotelgelände beeinträchtigt. Egal ob im Zimmer oder im teuer gebuchten Wellnessbereich – ab 7 Uhr morgens herrscht lauter Baustellenlärm. Für ein Hotel dieser Preiskategorie, besonders als Wellnesshotel, ist dieser Mangel absolut inakzeptabel. Da wir während des Buchungsprozesses nicht darauf hingewiesen wurden und die gewünschte Ruhe fehlte, rate ich von einer Buchung ab!

Das Gute vorweg: alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich! Aber: Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Leider wird neben den Hotel gebaut. Davon haben wir nichts gewusst. Es wurde bei der Buchung auch nicht darauf hingewiesen. Das Zimmer mit Aussicht auf die Baustelle war ab 7 Uhr morgens, inkl. Samstag den ganzen Tag lärmig. Und ebenso in der Nacht. Durch den Wind wurde dauernd etwas umgeworfen, deshalb hat es immer wieder geknallt. Wir haben 1 Woche lang sehr schlecht geschlafen. Da wir deshalb einen Tag früher abgereist sind, wurde der fehlende Tag trotzdem berechnet. Keine Kulanz, an keiner Stelle. Weitere Unannehmlichkeiten: Staubsaugen während den Essenszeiten, und trotzdem war es überall immer etwas schmutzig. Das Essen, inkl. Büffet höchstens Durchschnitt. Nur ein Lift für das ganze Hotel, inkl. Reinigungspersonal. Und dieser extrem langsam, zum Verzweifeln! Spa viel zu klein. Zuwenig Liegen. Im Auszeitzimmer wurde 4 Tage lang dreckiges Geschirr stehen gelassen. Nicht nachvollziehbar. Fazit: wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Es war unser erster Besuch im Waldhotel, im Schwarzwald überhaupt. Zur Zeit entsteht ein großer Anbau, das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Küche ist hervorragend. Der Wellnessbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Pool ist schön und groß genug. Wenn es dort lauter wird, kann man sich schön in den Ruheraum zurückziehen. Die ruhige Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von hier aus kann man sehr viele Wanderungen und Ausflüge unternehmen. Es hat wirklich alles von A bis Z gepasst. Wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder.
