Travelodge Toddington M1 Southbound

Decent hotel. Would stay again. Can’t really go wrong with a travel lodge

I stayed here on my way back up north from London for work as a coach driver. I was greeted by the lovely smiley and happy Sally on reception who couldn’t do more to help, especially when I picked up the wrong set of keys when coming out my room and locked them inside. A lot of guests were having lovely conversations at reception with Sally which is nice to see these days with not much positivity around. The hotel and my room were also absolutely immaculately clean, had a great nights sleep with zero traffic noise Sally is a great asset to the hotel team :)

Happy with the overall sleep and stay, it was comfortable and convenient, price was reasonably cheap, husband and I stay to visit family regularly due to the good location, it is also next to the motorway which could not hear any traffic noise.

A lovely night stay as usual in Travelodge. I always book a Travelodge at the end of my holiday so that I can have a nice rest before I have to drive home never disappointed.

The staff at this hotel were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I rang before to request a ground floor room close to reception which was sorted before I arrived. Clean throughout so do recommend

Absolutely awful. Guests smoking **** in the reception entrance on arrival. The bathroom had mould in the bath and the shower curtain was covered. Hair in the bath (not mine!). During the night woke up (although sleep was extremely broken due to the loud noise outside) and discovered my hand was wrapped in someone else's hair. Two and a half hours sleep in total before a 4am start. This is possible one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed (and I have stayed in a couple of truly awful places). This was not worth the money paid whatsoever.
