2-Star Hotels in Tochigi

A 3-storey guesthouse located on a branch of the Tomoeha River. Megumi speaks enough English to communicate the facilities of the hotel and she is very welcoming. It is very convenient to be able to rent a bicycle from her to ride around town. I slept in one of the western dorm-style beds and it was very comfortable. A thoughtful touch is spare earplugs at the tea station upstairs. One thing I am finding is that when a listing says ”shared bathroom facilities, that could mean any number of things! Here, the showers are clean and good, and there are 2 separate and lockable shower cubicles, can be used by men or women. There are toilets on every floor. The guesthouse has a good free breakfast, I had some boiled eggs and a savoury pastry. Toast and jam is also available. They also do hot drinks and meals if needed. It's a reasonable walk from the train station, but it's flat walking.

The Kanahan Ryokan provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Tochigi will find that the Kanahan Ryokan is a fantastic accommodation choice.The hotel offers easy access to JR Tochigi Station, just 1km away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Chōseiji Temple, Okinajima (The Cottage of Okada Memorial Hall) and Kuranomachi Plaza all within a short distance.At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.

It's close to the station. I went by car, so I used the paid parking lot behind the building. It was 500 yen per night. The room was well-cleaned and clean. The amenities were also plentiful. I'd like to use it again when I go to Tochigi City.

ソロツーリングで宿泊しました。 バイクは入り口前の屋根があるところに駐車させてもらいました。 立地も駅に近く食事をとるところの選択肢も多く助かります。 ランドリーは洗濯機と乾燥機が3セットあり良かったです。 朝食付きのプランでしたので内容ですが、コロナ禍の折小鉢等に入ったものを取るようになっていました。 不満というほどではないのですが、洋食向きのおかずにスクランブルエッグ等を入れてはどうかと思います。 *焼きはあったのですが、お菜は和食のものが多かったように思えます。 全体的に見るとかなり良いホテルだったと思います。 また近くにきた折に宿泊を考えても良いと思いました。
