Since I was staying without meals, there was nothing lacking, and they offer free rental of humidifiers and air purifiers, which is a great service for people who don't like the dryness of air conditioning or who stay in a smoking room.
Since I traveled by car, it was close to the interchange and there was a convenience store nearby. There was plenty of parking space. There is an izakaya and eel restaurant below the hotel, so it's not a problem even if you're staying without meals, and there are many restaurants nearby.
I would stay here again if I was on business, but it might be a bit lonely if I was sightseeing.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room in this hotel 10 years ago and it was a very good experience. I booked a double room this time. The facilities were a bit outdated. There was a musty smell when I first entered the room. Just spray it with the deodorant on the table and it will be fine. The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the center of Tochigi. It is only a few minutes away from the Babami River and the old prefectural office. There is a department store across the street. There is a 24-hour convenience store in two or three minutes' walk.
