Room 8 - quiet and beautifully decorated, superb 'build' finish with every attention to detail. Room on Gf at rear so with a window in a corner there was limited light and no view, however it was all we needed and the lovely lounge a step away was used to sit and enjoy some comfort in the day. Bathroom, like the room well fitted, lovely rain shower. Not sure why basin so small!? Would have fitted one a little larger.... Wilma attended to the room each day and all our needs and Owen was quickly on hand on day 1 to sort out a minor TV problem. TV is internet iPlayer etc with all channels. Bed comfortable and Nespresso a nice touch. Eating at Macgochans was a happy experience and great fish and chips, pub next door also good. Tobermory is such a lovely town, will try to come again to enjoy the surroundings and go otter spotting on what is such an exquisitely beautiful island.

Roslyn House was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint! The rooms aren't particularly big, but that just adds to the charme. And even though smaller in size, they definitely make up for it with all the amenities like the generous daily in-room breakfast, the provided bathrobes or the inviting honesty bar. While a lot of hotels decide to discontinue daily room-keeping, this "staff-less" guest house fortunately isn't following this trend (that being said, I would prefer there being an option to choose not having the towels exchanged daily (we hung them up nicely every day only to find them replaced once we got back from exploring the island)). The guest house is in short walking distance to the main town area and comes with easy street parking. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Mull.

This was sold as a luxury B and B. The wallpaper and lamps were delightful and the view magnificent. The bed was comfortable enough although I have stayed in better. The biggest negative was the price (£300 per night) which was definitely in the luxury category. I believe there should be an element of service with luxury accommodation. Entry is by key pad and you have to ensure you have an email with entry instructions. We saw people who didn't and waited a while to gain entry. The breakfast was extensive but cold- all items packaged and placed in the room the day before, including the crusty rolls. There was only a small quantity of fruit, and the orange juice tasted cheap. An honesty bar is available with a good selection of whisky and gin but is more expensive that the full service bars on the seafront that we tried. There are no instructions to operate the heating. What I enjoy about Scottish B and Bs is speaking to a friendly owner and enjoying a cooked breakfast, showcasing the best of Scotland. This is not it. If however you travel to enjoy fancy wallpaper at a price higher than some full service 4-5 star hotels in Edinburgh Roslyn House might fit the bill. If it had been sold as an AirBNB at half the price I would ave given it a good review. On this occasion I felt I did not get what I paid for.

Tobermory og Roslyn House var skønt!
Det fungerede super nemt med koder til adgang. Lækker morgenmad til os i det lille køleskab og fin detalje med en honesty bar, hvor men selv kunne gå ud og købe ekstra drikkevarer.
Virkelig lækkert og luksuriøst værelse, vi var helt vilde med tapetet og det rummelige badeværelse.
Gode instruktioner lå klar til at læse, og selve byen og Isle of Mull var helt vildt hyggeligt! Højdepunkt på vores Skotland tur. Kan kun anbefale en bådtur for at se puffins.
Parkering var på gaden, og vi havde heldigvis ikke problemer med at få plads.

Room- well-furnished and very comfortable. Location- short steep walk up from the harbour. Nice and quiet at night for sleeping. One bottle of sparkling wine on the first day. One bottle of still water (we didn’t use but guess it would be renewed) Breakfast- not the healthiest but plentiful and good quality. Each day a crusty white roll each, a croissant each, a Yeo valley natural yoghurt each, small pots of jam and honey, lots of butter and Flora, a jar of granola and two jars of fruit. One large bag of salted crisps. 4 coffee pods, 8 mixed tea bags. 400ml milk, a carton of soy milk, 400ml orange juice. The table is too small for all the food! Fridge- big enough to put a few extras in. Electric sockets- lots of 3 pin sockets in the room. There is a small kettle. Cleaning is done well every day and towels changed. Bar- well-stocked with whisky, spirits and soft drinks. Credit card machine there for paying.

A fabulous new hotel in Tobermory. Loved the self check in, the hotel has been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean throughout - everything was perfect and I would definitely book again when back in Tobermory - I would highly recommend it

Suite was beautiful. One of the nicest we've stayed in Scotland. Self-serve breakfast and snacks in our suite were delicious, ample, and restocked. Loved it. A little out of the main part of town, but it takes seconds to drive and minutes to walk.
