Exelente servicio por años y el personal exelente y como ellos lo dicen nos hacen sentir llegar a casa, nos sentiomos en casa con tan solo dar el primer paso en esta exelente Quinta. This is our favorite hotel in Guadalajara and maybe Mexico. The people are beyond wonderful. The beauty of the rooms and location are very charming. We usually stop on road trips and the parking is super secure and rare in a busy city. We have a small service dog and they are very accommodating. For food, super ...super... Breakfast is lovely and the Tlaquepasta restaurant has so many dishes to try. Sweet live music too. One particularly favorite thing is they give you a welcome cocktail and the small perfect little bar with the same smiling great service is there to make your stay 100 percent. In a past stay they arranged me a driver to take me to find some obscure artists deep in Tonola and he took us to place we had never been and discovered other great artists. The tile work and art collection decorating this spacious colonial style hotel is exceptional.

As always, our stay at Quinta Don Jose was great! We’ve stayed here numerous times over the past 14 years. Every individual on the staff is friendly, thoughtful and welcoming. The garden and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are cozy and spotless, and breakfast is delicious. Hope to return soon!

I loved this hotel traditional Mexican , large comfortable room ,so friendly , Charlie at the bar was great fun and the lovely ladies that made breakfast in the morning , will definitely stay here again and recommend anyone else to it’s a lovely area better than central Guadalajara with some very nice restaurants only a block away

Es mi segunda vez hospedándome aquí y es un lugar hermoso y relajante que te hace sentir como en casa. El servicio es excelente, todos son súper atentos y es un lugar al que espero siempre regresar. El ultimo día que estuve ahi con mi familia nos enfermamos porque antes habíamos estado en la sierra en las cabañas con lluvia y la gente de TlaquePasta que es el restaurante dentro de la quinta nos prepararon una sopa de pollo deliciosa y confortante que no es parte del menu y nos hizo sentir mejor. Agradecemos todas sus atenciones y espero volver pronto. Gracias

I travel around the world for business. This hotel was recommended by a colleague in the tequila business, which I am in as well. I have staying at nice properties, and I cannot begin to tell all about Quinta Don Jose. In one visit, they became family. The rooms are varied in type, so you can choose from options (don't pick room 4 - that one is MINE :) ). The staff is unbelievably accommodating, kind, gracious, friendly, and most of all sincere. They are those things and more, not because "it is part of their job", it is because that is who they are. When in Guadalajara, I will not stay anywhere else. If I were to show up without making a reservation, and they were sold out, I would seriously consider sleeping in my car.

A Truly Unforgettable Experience Staying at Quinta Don Jose was one of the most memorable vacations I’ve ever had. This small, family-run boutique hotel in Guadalajara surpassed all my expectations in every way. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The food was an absolute highlight, offering a perfect blend of local flavors and gourmet touches that left me looking forward to every meal. The ambiance was enchanting, with its beautiful décor, lush gardens, and an atmosphere that made me feel like I was in my own little paradise. I will carry the memories of my stay here for the rest of my life and can’t wait to return in the near future. Quinta Don Jose is truly a gem!

QDJ is in a great location and the entire ambiance was vibrant. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner here a few times since we needed something quick and best decision. Food was delicious! Next time we visit, we getting the bone marrow!
