Property Description
Titchwell Manor is a Victorian farmhouse which now offers luxurious boutique accommodations. With a variety of rooms across the farm buildings and main house, Titchwell Manor provides a calm and comfortable setting in north Norfolk. Each individually designed room has its own private bathroom with shower or bath and luxury toiletries, flat-screen TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. Many have sea or garden views. The manor hosts an informal bar and dining area with views of the ocean, and the 3 AA Rosette Conservatory Restaurant, overlooking the walled garden. Led by an award-winning head chef, many of these restaurants’ dishes make use of local Norfolk produce. Titchwell Manor is surrounded by open fields and woods, which are ideal for walking. There are warm log fires in the winter to snooze in front of. Dinner and Breakfast can be taken in the formal Conservatory or the casual Eating Rooms.

We were very pleased to have stayed 4 nights at this lovely modernised hotel. It’s very comfortable, very clean, happy staff, first class breakfasts with one of the best buffet. We dined trice and were delighted with the choices on the menu and the dishes from this creative kitchen. We’ll be back!

Dear Eric & Titchwell Manor Team. We have visited you all at Titchwell Manor many times over the years both to stay and for meals & drinks We have always been impressed with all that the Manor has to give, accommodation, food, quirkiness and especially the attention to detail with always various nice touched and quality. We visited you this year on June 22nd for 3 nights. We stayed to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. All went ok with nice food, nice attentive staff and in general a relaxing break. However we did notice a step down in quality of accommodation. Our room number 23 was really showing signs of age with decoration rather poor. This could have been acceptable if it wasn't for the dust, dirt and in general lack of cleanliness. Lots of old dead flies on window sill, cobwebs everywhere, very very dirty behind bed (not sure what some of the bits were?), strange old board of some sort on top of wardrobe. We could go on!! And more of a concern 2 x greasy head patches on the headboard which is not what you expects from a high class accommodation. We really don't want to complain but really love Titchwell Manor and really hope the standards are not dropping either by intention or via lack of attention to detail. Please please keep up your standards. You are based in the most wonderful area of the country, with generally wonderful accommodation. Please don't let your standards drop leading to poor reviews. Kind regards Mr. & Mrs. Plumb. P.S we have photos if you would like us to share?

Stayed for 1 night at the end of a Norfolk trip and we were very impressed with the Shepherds hut. The detail and the quality were fantastic. Lovely toiletries. The huts have a private hot tub which was a welcome way to unwind at the end of a holiday. Breakfast was amazing. Very polite reception and resturant staff. Would recommend.

A very enjoyable stay at the Manor. The room was clean and comfortable overlooking the well kept garden. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We ate twice in the restaurant the food was very good I had the lobster which was cooked to perfection. I would also recommend the kippers if you want an alternative to a full English. To our surprise they also do a happy hour 5-6 where you can purchase 2 for one cocktails and wine. The location is superb for the beach, wildlife and a great walk on the coastal path which has several stop offs for refreshments. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break.

We had dinner here over Bank Holiday weekend and were disappointed for a number of reasons. When we arrived there was no greeting from any staff member. The bar staff were wearing grubby aprons. We ordered a bottle of Chablis, which was out of stock (the start of a bank holiday weekend). The dinner was good, no ambience in the dining room, the lady wearing a black suit did not acknowledge us at all (presume she was some sort of manager). We have stayed at the hotel on a few occasions between us (a few years ago now) and feel that there is no one leading the way any more. There was a lovely waitress who made up for it, she was chatty and helpful. I believe she was Hungarian, but unfortunately did not get her name. I am sure the rooms are as good as ever.

We had hoped for a good meal after reading Norfolk magazine. Sadly we were disappointed. The restaurant didn’t live up to our expectations They had run out of the sole which I understand can happen but the only fish alternative was fish and chips which was just ok.My husbands lamb was ok but was overpriced in our opinion and so were the deserts We are used to paying these prices but expect to be impressed They had also run out of cream for the coffee. The rug in the lounge was filthy and we won’t be coming back.
