We have known this place, as locals, for many years and filed it under "special occasions", which in our experience the quality of the food and venue certainly deserve. However, met friends up for drinks at short notice and the penny dropped that this also a great bar and a perfect spot to sit near the fire and just kick off the weekend with a beer or two and a couple of plates of tasty nibbles.

Just returned from a two night stay on Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate. We stayed in room 21, Basil, around the herb garden. Happy with the room, slept well, loved the fact we had a coffee machine, fridge, water, milk on request, slippers and gowns. Plenty of free parking, friendly staff and delicious dinner and breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the selection of homemade granolas. Background music played in the evening at dinner but not at breakfast, would be great if it was both. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

We stayed for two nights on a special room rate but had to include evening meals. The food was first class, couldn't fault it, as were the staff. The service was attentive and they went out of their way to help. The public spaces and our room are run-down. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel and it needs decorating! All the paint worn away on the bannisters and stairs and the carpets are stained. I understand that if this gets done it will be disruptive if it is done in the day time but it really is necessary to keep the place looking neat and tidy, which I really felt it wasn't. London prices are charged which is normal for this part of the world. The location is great, handy for Hunstanton, Holkham and Sandringham which are all just a short drive away.

My fiancé and I had a great stay here. Firstly, thank you to Ellie in the bar, fantastic cocktails, asked for something off the menu and she comes with the goods! Secondly, very good fry up breakfast the next day! Only one very very slight niggle, the bedroom door on room 4 rattles with the air pressure change when someone else opens their door. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will surely come again!

Greetings Amy, and Kirstie. We both hope that you and your team are doing well? Humble apologies for this belated reply to your team, things have been manic at Robin Close, with job changes, selling a house, family etc. Tracey and I would like to thank you for such a stressless day leading up to 20th of May 2024. From meeting Kisrtie initially, through to all the details leading up to the Big Day with Amy, each and every meeting was easy and efficient. I don't think we were too taxing in our demands, except 1- which was ultimately resolved :) Our dealings with Amy were fluid and efficient. Every meeting gave us the confidence that Titchwell was the ideal location for the wedding and the reception. Every detail asked for was catered. From landing on the Sunday 19th, with our "Wedding Cakes" in hand, Andrew took control and put them in the cellar. Check in was fluid and efficient, the receptionist was and is lovely to deal with. Our pre planned meal seemed to go down well with everyone. We had no complaints, but who would moan at the bride & groom the night before!? Onto the day of the ceremony, I was asked a few times, was I nervous- Absolutely not. It was and is the right decision to go to Titchwell. I was marrying the right woman in the best location. Even the registrars deem it to be the best location in Norfolk. To the Ceremony- clockwork, efficient and stressless. Amy, bless her, came in on a day off! That's dedication! The whole proceedings went smoothly and efficiently. The professionalism shown by Amy, Andrew, Ronaldo and the team went above and beyond. No rehearsals were required, as things evolved organically. We were even early for the Wedding Breakfast. The serving staff were discrete and unobtrusive, so a huge thank you to them. We were even told it was a great wedding party and we were a pleasure to serve- that is something! Our experience throughout was 5 star. You are all a credit to yourselves, each other and to Titchwell. Best wishes, Tracey & Francis.

Room should have been very nice but poor housekeeping attention to detail. Shower head limescale. Only 1/2 power. Toilet didn’t flush. Dirty tissue under bath. No lights over sink. Curtains off track / didn’t meet in middle. No slippers. No second toilet as described. Poor dressing table area. Mattress cover and bottom sheet too small for bed so just came off. Very very poor for £220. Meal also not great and very expensive.

Three night stay to visit local nature reserves all within walking distance. One of the best UK hotels I have ever stayed in. Rooms are great, big and comfortable with good facilities. WiFi works well enough to stream anything (for me important football match) if you need to. Staff are brilliant. The food in the restaurants for dinnar is exceptionally good. Breakfasts are also very good. Will definitely be returning.
