The staff is friendly and provides great service. Convenient location near supermarkets, bus terminal, and scenic views. Guests praise spacious, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and superb facilities like pool, gym, and WiFi.

We stayed at Serenity Tissa for one night as part of our visit to Yala for a safari, and it exceeded all our expectations! We chose the hotel based on its appealing rooms and pool, and we were not disappointed. The pool is nestled in beautiful, tranquil surroundings, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Our room was fantastic—spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony, air conditioning, and complimentary soft drinks, making it a great place to relax. While the facilities were already top-notch, what really made our stay exceptional was the service from Shantha. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. We hadn’t booked our safari in advance, but Shantha took care of everything for us. Even with the short notice (we asked at 8pm!), he managed to arrange a private jeep for a 5am pickup. He even had a packed breakfast ready for us that morning! Our safari guide, Squirrel, was outstanding. His in-depth knowledge of the animals made the experience even more special. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including water buffalo, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose, and spotted deer. After our safari, Shantha kindly allowed us to keep our room for a bit longer so we could freshen up. He also organised a trip to the holy city of Kataragama for us, arranging it through Tuk Tuk Rental Tissa at a great price. Our driver, Muthumala, was wonderful and gave us great directions to the temple once we reached Kataragama, and checking in on us to make sure we were safe and not lost. To top it off, Shantha also arranged a private taxi for our journey to Ella, securing us a better rate than we had been able to find ourselves. A huge thank you to Shantha and the team for making our stay so memorable. We can't recommend Serenity Tissa enough for anyone looking to visit the area!

This hotel was perfect!! Great location, rooms very comfortable, pool superb, a gym, amazing breakfast and restaurant but most impressive was the staff! Shantha the Manager was so accommodating and provided the best service we have had. Could not recommend this hotel any higher with the service we were provided and the facilities. Enjoy!!!
