Really friendly. Really fun. Great service. Loved it. Breakfast amazing. Food amazing. The location is a bit away from Split airport. Everyone is relaxed; speak English, and appreciate a bit of Croatian language learning. My girlfriend and I have had a beautiful time here 🌱

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and amazing food. We stayed for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it. For breakfast there are various choices. Dinner is amazing with carefully prepared dishes with groceries from.local suppliers. Pool and rooms are very clean. I had there the best ice cream in my life. Visit hotel Borovnik you will not regres it.

So clean and the perfect location! I really appreciate the manager Tatjana, thankyou! We had many issues with delayed and cancelled flights, he waiting up til gone 3am for us even when I was unable to update them (waiting for my phone connection to update to location). The bar staff are amazing, great food and drinks too. Although little more pricey than other places, but still worth the price! We stayed here two days either side of our festival accomodation, very relaxing. The pool is a hotbox for heat, so great for tanning!

We visited for a meal, we didn’t book and arrived after making a spur of the moment decision. We were warmly greeting, and the waiting staff were very attentive. I have food allergies and I felt very safe here. The chef actually made me some flat bread to ensure that I was safe, and it was delicious. We also watched the England vs Holland semi- final, so my husband was delighted. We will be back again before we leave.

AC working now & then - different systems in the rooms. Only 2 rooms with balcony. No chair in the room, high windows so one need to stand up to see the pool, the street or a dirty backyard. nice beds and bed sheet light & modern furniture Bathroom nice but - as always - lack of hooks! Quite instable internet. Safe box not in all rooms. Outdoor relaxing bar furniture in bad shape Very bad bus connections to nearby villages and taxi is expensive = 20 EUR for 8 mins drive/8 km! Very boring village/place mid sept-mid oct. One need to walk 600 - 1200 meters from hotel to find a "beach" area. Ok breakfast but most plates are empty 30 mins before closure. No surprises - all the same every morning Boring pool area, besides not open until 10 am (after breakfast) Hotel located in a busy traffic corner & church with lots of bell ringing To find nice & relaxing "stone bath area - walking 500m - 1 km fr hotel. Absolutely not a 4- star hotel!

The rooms were spacious and clean. They were quiet if the windows were closed and air- conditioning on. With the windows open you could hear the church bells. The beds were comfy. Being an Eco hotel, the bed linen & towels were changed when requested rather than every day. The shower worked well , shower gel and a hairdryer was provided. There was a safe also in the room. One of the rooms also had a mini-fridge. The only negative feature was a light that came on lighting up the room, if you went to the bathroom in the night, but obviously useful if there was a fire at night. The buffet breakfast varied a little each day but was usually a choice of 4 cereals, yoghurt, a choice of 4 or 5 fruits, scrambled/fried/hard-boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, salad, bread/toast, cheeses and cakes. To drink there was fruit juice, water, coffee and herb teas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Reception can arrange excursions, car-hire & taxis. The swimming pool is a good size & can be used until 7 pm & was also available for use after checking out before leaving for the airport.

Absolutely terrible food. I had the ceasar salad, which was soaking in what tasted like dishwater soap. When asked about it, the waiter said that the kitchen gets dirty lettuce from the farm and needs to wash it. terrible excuse. When i received another salad, my boyfriend and i noticed that the chicken smelled rotten, and the bacon was completely off. Brought it straight back to the kitchen again. My boyfriends burger was also soaking and dripping with liquids that were not sure what it was. Dont eat here

My partner and I stayed here for a week in July 2023, in the newer side of the hotel. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. The windows were relative soundproof, although there were times when we could still hear the clock tower! The only downside to the room was the automatic light on the front of the wardrobe mirror by the bathroom door. It meant that the light kept going off while trying to get ready in front of the mirror, but also that if either of us went to the toilet in the middle of the night, the light came on and lit up most of the room! The breakfast at the hotel was really nice and they had a wide selection of cooked and fresh food. The lady who cooked the eggs in the morning (didn't get her name) was excellent and made good omelettes and scrambled eggs. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially the cleaners and the lady on night reception - she was excellent! Unfortunately the day before we arrived, another customer had disagreed with the bar bill they had received. Subsequently the bar/restaurant at the pool would not let you charge to the room and only accepted cash. When we discussed this with the hotel, they were unwilling to compromise by letting us charge food to the room and pay for drinks in cash. This meant that we ventured out the hotel much more frequently than we would have. Not a problem for us, but a loss for the hotel. Everything else was great except for the last day, when after checkout we stored our luggage and went to use the pool for a couple of hours. We were then informed that because we were no longer 'guests of the hotel' we could not use the facilities any longer and we would have to pay to continue to stay by the pool. This was disappointing as we had really enjoyed our time until that point. One of the bar staff did try to rectify this by speaking to management, but after witnessing the same conversation with several other guests the atmosphere around the pool was not great, so we decided to leave a little earlier than planned. Overall a good hotel, and some simple changes could make it excellent.

We stayed here last-minute during Love International and were so well looked after, especially by Daniela at the front desk. It was the perfect way to do the festival - unbeatable location, comfy bed, good spread at breakfast and great vibes by the pool. The bar only takes cash, which is a little annoying, but that seems to be par for the course in Croatia for now. We'll be back!
